Editorial Review
Our Take on Flood Brothers Plumbing
A 4.9 average across more than 700 reviews is hard to fake, and it's backed here by a real, checkable California contractor license and an A+ BBB record. Flood Brothers has clearly scaled without the rating slipping, which is the pattern worth paying attention to in a trade full of one-truck operations that can't sustain quality past a certain size.

About Flood Brothers Plumbing
Flood Brothers Plumbing works out of Studio City in the San Fernando Valley and holds active California contractor license 985487, issued by the Contractors State License Board and checkable directly on the CSLB's public lookup tool. The company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and behind that, a genuinely large review record: 4.9 from 773 Google reviews, read September 18, 2026.
That review count matters more than the star rating alone. Plenty of Los Angeles plumbers hold a 5.0 average on twenty or thirty reviews, which is a small enough sample that a handful of friends and family could get it there. Holding 4.9 across more than 700 real reviews takes years of consistent work across a large volume of actual jobs, and it's a lot harder to manufacture or fake.
The company covers standard residential plumbing, drain cleaning, water heater repair and replacement, leak detection, and emergency calls for burst pipes and major clogs, and its license lets it take on larger repiping and installation jobs too, not just routine service calls. Los Angeles's older housing stock, particularly in neighborhoods with homes built before mid-century plumbing codes, means galvanized supply lines and clay sewer laterals are still common, and a licensed plumber with real repiping capability matters for that kind of work in a way a repair-only outfit can't match.
Based in Studio City, Flood Brothers reaches across Los Angeles and the surrounding San Fernando Valley, and reviewers describe the company taking emergency calls alongside scheduled work rather than treating urgent jobs as an inconvenience. The consistent theme across the review base is technicians who show up close to the stated window, explain the problem in plain terms before quoting a price, and stick to that price once the job starts.
At the scale Flood Brothers operates, hundreds of jobs a year across a sprawling service area, the technician who shows up on any given call will vary, which is the normal tradeoff that comes with a company this size compared with a single-truck local shop. What that scale buys in return is faster availability and a review record broad enough that a real service problem would show up in the numbers within weeks, not stay hidden.
For Los Angeles homeowners who want a licensed, heavily reviewed plumber with a track record that holds up at real scale, Flood Brothers Plumbing is one of the stronger options for both routine repairs and plumbing emergencies across the city.
