We started from two Google Maps searches for plumbers and plumbing companies in Halifax, then ran four more searches because the Halifax market has fewer established plumbing companies than larger cities. We kept Google's order. Each company had to be operating, based inside the Halifax Regional Municipality, rated 4.5 or higher with at least 25 Google reviews, and running its own working website that matched its Google listing. We read each website for certification claims, warranties, services, service areas and staff, and compared it with Google's address, phone and hours. We left out one well-reviewed company with no website, one company rated below 4.5, several with fewer than 25 reviews, a handyman and renovation firm whose plumbing is a side service, and companies based outside HRM. Ratings and review counts were read on September 24, 2026. No company paid to be included or to be ranked higher.

How to choose a plumber in Halifax
