Advanced Plumbing & Drains has traded in Toronto's West End since 2005, run by brothers Greg and George Tsakopoulos. A perfect 5.0 average from 569 Google reviews, read on September 18, 2026, is a strong record for a family-run shop, and reviews consistently praise the same named technicians: Laz for a meticulous shower and tub faucet replacement, and again for thorough work on a complicated job, communicated through detailed PDF quotes, invoices and receipts. The company runs seven days a week from 8am to 7pm, and posts a real contact email on its own domain.

Editorial Review

Our Take on Advanced Plumbing & Drains

Twenty years under the same family ownership and a perfect review average across more than 500 reviews is an unusual combination, and the reviews naming the same technicians for a straightforward faucet swap and a genuinely complicated job suggest consistent quality rather than luck. The lack of a published license number is worth a direct question before booking anything beyond routine repair work.

About Advanced Plumbing & Drains

Advanced Plumbing & Drains has operated out of Toronto's West End since 2005, run by brothers Greg and George Tsakopoulos, from a base on Annette Street near the Junction. Twenty years of continuous operation under the same family ownership is a track record worth noting in a trade where small operators often come and go within a few years.

The reviews back up that longevity. A 5.0 average from 569 Google reviews, read on Google on September 18, 2026, is a rare thing to see at this volume, and the reviews name specific technicians for specific jobs. One customer credited Laz with a meticulous shower and tub faucet replacement, describing him as careful with his setup and attentive to detail. Another reviewer, facing a complicated plumbing job, again named Laz, this time highlighting how the company handled everything electronically, with detailed PDF quotes, invoices and receipts rather than a handshake estimate. Other reviews mention Ian, Demetri and Michael, which points to a small crew that customers get to know by name rather than a rotating roster.

The company publishes a real contact email on its own domain, info@advancedplumbing.ca, and posts hours seven days a week from 8am to 7pm. It describes itself as fully licensed, though specific license or insurance numbers are not published on the site, so confirm those directly. Emergency availability, financing and warranty terms are also not stated publicly.

Who this suits: West Toronto homeowners who want a small, established, family-run plumber for fixture replacement, faucet work or a drain problem, and who value clear paper-trail communication over informal estimates. Who might look elsewhere: anyone with an overnight emergency, since 24-hour availability is not advertised, and anyone wanting a published license number before the first call.

Before booking, ask for the specific Ontario plumbing license or TSSA registration, and confirm whether evening or weekend jobs carry a different rate than the posted 8am to 7pm window.
