    Our experience with this company has been terrible. We bought a house in December and the house has been flooding since June 1st whether it rains or not. The basement has been seriously leaking from all perimeters of the basement. We discovered that basement systems has been coming to the house since 2025 and we were wondering what they have been coming to the house to do. Also we contracted another foundations expert who after multiple assessments have quoted us $15,000. It seemed that basement systems did some repairs in this basement before apart from sump pump servicing. They have refused to either come out for an assessment of the situation nor provide us with a report of what work was done. What's more annoying is the rude attitude and tone of voice of Craig right from the very first time I spoke to him. First they booked an appointment for Craig to come out and assess the situation, only for the reception to call me when about couple of minutes to getting to the house for the appointment that Craig cancelled and will be calling me back to reschedule assessment. Craig called the following week or so, starting off very rudely, saying all manner of nonsense asking me what was the service provided before etc. weeks after, we still haven't heard back from basement systems, even after multiple follow up phone calls to both Craig's direct line and their reception that kept going to automatic voicemail. I'm quite disappointed at basement systems staff lack of professionalism and empathy. Their reception said they can't find a record of the previous work done in the house they acknowledged they have been coming to service yearly or every 2 years since 2020. I am the owner of this company to look into this urgently, as the manner in which we have been and being treated is absolutely unacceptable. Should you have responded promptly the multiple times we reached out with the follow-up and information you provided after our review, we wouldn't have had any reason to give you a bad review. I have now updated the review to 3 stars.

    Seth did a great job with the sump pump installation. He took care to protect the surrounding area and minimize dust spreading through the house and ventilation system, which I really appreciated. He explained the sump setup, how the system works, and the warranty, and was very thorough with cleanup afterward. I appreciated the professionalism, the care taken in my home, and the willingness to explain the solution and answer my questions. A very positive experience from start to finish. Thank you!

    Basement Systems recently repaired a foundation crack for us, and we had a great experience from start to finish. They came out fairly quickly to assess the issue and gave me a couple of repair options, both of which I felt were very reasonable. We did have to wait a little while for the work to be completed, but that was completely understandable given how busy they’ve been with all the rain we’ve had. When repair day came, communication was great. Both workers were professional, polite, and respectful of the property, and they left everything clean and tidy when they were finished. Overall, a really positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Basement Systems again! (Photo shows the foundation crack before the repair.)
