Our Take on DryMax Waterproofing

DryMax earns its spot on the strength of 83 Google reviews averaging 5.0 and a website willing to quote real price ranges. The site itself is a generic Toronto-branded template that names no one, so lean on the reviews for the people and ask for WSIB paperwork in writing.

I had a great experience with Dry Max Waterproofing and would highly recommend Vasyl and his team. Vasyl was extremely communicative throughout the entire project, keeping me updated and explaining any issues they found along the way. His crew was respectful, hardworking, and did a great job completing a significant amount of work, including waterproofing, replacing drain lines, and installing a sump pump and backwater valve. Despite having to break up concrete and make quite a mess, they cleaned everything up really well afterward. Very happy with the quality of the work and the overall experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vasyl and his team.

Company Background

About DryMax Waterproofing

DryMax Waterproofing is one of the few Mississauga contractors that puts rough prices on its own website: a perimeter drain and downspout system on a 40 by 50 foot house at $10,000 to $15,000, exterior wall waterproofing at around $45 per square foot, and a sump pump installation averaging about $1,800. The company works out of a commercial unit at 6068 Netherhart Road and says it has operated since 2014 as a family-owned business with WSIB coverage and a written estimate before work starts.

The service list is broad for a waterproofer. Interior systems use a WaterGuard-style drain with a wall membrane and a sump pit. Exterior jobs follow an excavation sequence of crack sealing, Bakor membrane, fibre mesh and Delta drainage board. The site also lists backwater valves, window wells, sewer line repair and yard drainage, and it uses Liberty sump pumps with battery backup. Service areas named on the site include Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton, Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill.

Reviewers keep naming Vasyl, who leads the work and sends photos or video at each stage. Mena described a cracked foundation fixed in a day, Darryl had downspouts rerouted and a French pit installed, and one reviewer said DryMax stepped in after another contractor's bad sump installation. Mike and Vlad get credit for the heavy digging on a backwater valve and sump job finished in two days. Anton said an interior waterproofing job is still dry a year later, and that the team found a missing footing no one else had caught. DryMax holds 5.0 from 83 Google reviews, read October 21, 2026.

The fair caveats are about the website, not the work. It is branded around Toronto, never names its owners or crew, and shows its WSIB coverage as a logo rather than a certificate number.

DryMax suits homeowners who want a written price range, sump and backwater valve work, or exterior membrane jobs, and who value an owner who stays on site. It may suit less well anyone who wants a large company with a named office staff. Ontario has no waterproofing-specific licence, so before booking ask for a WSIB clearance certificate, proof of liability insurance, a written plan for any City of Mississauga permit the work needs, and check the company on the Ontario Business Registry.
