Editorial Review
Our Take on Plomberie Montreal Supreme
A small, visibly active operation with genuine 24/7 positioning and a sensible Outremont base for the central boroughs. The 4.5 rating from 22 Google reviews is a decent signal rather than a strong one, so we would treat the phone conversation as the real vetting step, particularly on after-hours rates and licensing. For everyday residential repairs and small commercial work, it looks like a reasonable shortlist candidate.

- Jennifer Bauer1.0The work that was done in my home was well done. The plumbers who came to my house were polite and friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. The one star is due to the lack of communication regarding the cost of the work. I called in advance to get an idea of the cost. I have an extremely tight budget at the moment. I needed to be prepared. I was given minimal information (cost per hour, per plumber), and nothing else. When I got the bill I was floored. First of all, there was a "standard" travel fee for each plumber of 1.5 hours, the equivalent of $315 before they even began the work. As a fun aside, one of the plumbers told me he lived one block away from me. Travel time = 1 minute. I was charged for materials, which is fine, but a quick search showed me that the prices were inflated to a no-longer-acceptable degree. But the worst part was when I called, upset but calm, to find out what had happened, I was spoken to in a very condescending way, and told "the breakdown is in the invoice" again and again. No apologies, no customer service. I literally had to say "yes, I can read. I see the invoice. I am taking issue with the fact that you didn't communicate enough information when I asked you about the cost, before the work was done." In the end, they removed 30 mins of travel time per plumber from the total amount. Better than nothing, but the bill was still more than double the cost of the other quote I received for the same work. I won't make the same mistake again.April 2025Google

Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About Plomberie Montreal Supreme
Plumbing in Montreal is shaped by the housing stock. Much of the island's central core is walk-up duplexes and triplexes built between the 1900s and the 1950s, with galvanised steel or early copper supply lines, cast iron drain stacks buried in party walls, and back-to-back kitchen plumbing that makes a single leak someone else's problem within minutes. Plomberie Montreal Supreme works out of Outremont, which puts it in the middle of exactly that kind of building, with Côte-des-Neiges, Mile End, Plateau Mont-Royal and Villeray all within a short drive.
The company describes its work in two streams. Residential covers the familiar list: leaks, blocked drains, fixture and faucet replacement, water heater work, bathroom and kitchen installations, and the emergency calls that arrive at inconvenient hours. Commercial covers businesses, which in practice usually means grease-affected kitchen drains, backflow devices, washroom fixtures under heavy use, and repairs that have to happen before opening. A firm that runs both streams tends to keep a wider stock of parts on the truck, which matters when you need a specific size of replacement valve on a Sunday.
The hours are the headline claim. Every day on the Google listing reads open 24 hours, and the website carries the same 24/7 message alongside the phone number. Worth knowing what that generally means in this trade: after-hours calls almost always carry a premium rate, and the first hour is often billed at a minimum regardless of how long the fix takes. None of that is unusual, and none of it is listed on the profile, so ask for the call-out figure and the hourly rate before anyone is dispatched. A company that answers that question straight away at midnight is usually a company worth using.
Feedback sits at 4.5 from 22 reviews on the Google Business Profile, read on September 25, 2026. Read against the very large review counts some Montreal plumbing companies have accumulated, that is a small sample. It reads like a smaller operation with a real but limited public track record, rather than a franchise pushing volume. For readers, the practical consequence is that you should spend a little more time on the conversation and less on the star count. Ask who will actually attend, whether that person holds an RBQ licence and is a member of the CMMTQ, and what happens if the repair does not hold.
For bigger work, the questions change. A repipe in a Montreal triplex means opening plaster and lath, coordinating access with tenants, and deciding between copper and PEX, and the choice affects both price and the look of the finished job. Water heater swaps in older buildings often surface a second issue, usually an undersized or corroded shut-off valve. Anything that alters drainage, moves a fixture or touches a service line typically needs a permit from the borough, and Montreal boroughs do not all handle that the same way. Get clarity on who pulls the permit and whose name is on it.
Plomberie Montreal Supreme states that its coverage reaches beyond the island to the North and South shores, so Laval, Longueuil and the surrounding suburbs are in range. Travel time to the far edges of that area will realistically affect response on an emergency call, so if you are in Terrebonne at 2 a.m. it is fair to ask for an honest arrival estimate rather than assuming island-level speed.
Who it suits: owners of older central Montreal properties who want one contractor for both urgent repairs and planned work, landlords managing multiple units, and small businesses needing out-of-hours attendance. Who it suits less: anyone commissioning a large new-build mechanical package, or a buyer who wants a long public review history before signing. The company maintains active accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, and the Instagram feed is presented as a look at recent projects, which is a reasonable place to judge the standard of finished work before you call.

Plomberie Montreal Supreme FAQs
Does plomberie montreal supreme really answer calls at night?
Its published hours show open 24 hours on all seven days, and the website carries the same 24/7 message with the phone number 514-216-1421. As with any emergency plumbing service, expect an after-hours rate that differs from daytime pricing, and ask what the call-out charge and minimum billing period are before you agree to a dispatch.
What areas does it cover?
The Greater Montreal area, including the North and South shores, according to the company's own description. The business address is on Avenue Van Horne in Outremont, so central boroughs like Mile End, Plateau Mont-Royal, Côte-des-Neiges and Villeray are the closest ground. For suburban calls, ask for a realistic arrival window rather than assuming island response times.
Does it do commercial work as well as homes?
Yes, the company lists separate residential and commercial service streams. Commercial plumbing in Montreal usually means restaurant and kitchen drainage, washroom fixtures under heavy use, and repairs scheduled around opening hours, so it is worth describing your premises and your timing constraints on the first call.
How is it rated?
4.5 out of 5 from 22 reviews on its Google Business Profile, read on September 25, 2026. That is a good average on a fairly small number of reviews, so it is a positive signal rather than a long track record. Reading the individual reviews will tell you more than the average alone.
What should I ask before hiring a plumber in Montreal?
Ask about licensing, pricing structure and permits. Specifically: does the plumber attending hold a valid RBQ licence, what is the hourly rate versus the after-hours rate, is there a minimum charge, and who is responsible for pulling any borough permit if the work alters drainage or a service line. None of these details are published on this company's profile, so raise them by phone.
Can it handle a repipe in an older triplex?
The company lists installations and maintenance alongside emergency repairs, so larger work is within its stated scope, but you should confirm the specifics directly. Repiping an older Montreal triplex involves opening walls, coordinating tenant access and choosing between copper and PEX, so ask for a written scope and a timeline before committing.
How do I see examples of its work?
Through its social accounts. Plomberie Montreal Supreme links to Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, and presents the Instagram feed as recent projects and behind-the-scenes work. That is a practical way to judge the finish standard on installations before you book.
Is Plomberie Montreal Supreme licensed and insured?
We have no credential records on file for this company yet. Ask for the certificate directly from the insurer before booking work.
What areas does Plomberie Montreal Supreme serve?
Montreal, Lasalle, Saint-Laurent, Outremont. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
Does Plomberie Montreal Supreme offer emergency service?
Yes, the company lists emergency availability. Response time depends on demand, and after a storm every company in the market is stretched.
What warranty do they offer?
Warranty terms are not on file. Ask for them in writing before work starts.
How was this profile built?
Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.
