Editorial Review
Our Take on Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas
A tight, well-reviewed sweep with hours that genuinely cover evenings and weekends, which is rarer in this trade than it should be. The 5.0 average from 43 reviews on the Google profile is encouraging, though the listing gives little detail on how far the work extends into masonry repair or relining. Ask about scope and inspection level on the call and you will know quickly whether it fits the job.
Best for: pre-season fireplace sweeping and inspections for Dallas homeowners who need evening or weekend appointments
What We Like
- 5.0 rating from 43 reviews on its Google Business Profile, read September 2, 2026
- Published hours run 6 AM to 11 PM every day, including weekends
- Focused squarely on chimney sweeping rather than a broad handyman menu
- Dallas-based, so familiar with local housing stock from prewar bungalows to slab-built subdivisions
Things to Consider
- The profile does not list a detailed service menu, so confirm whether relining, crown repair or masonry work is handled in-house
- No pricing published, so ask what a standard sweep covers and what counts as extra
- The Lyndon B Johnson Freeway address appears to be a mailing suite, not a customer-facing location

- Don Corwin5.0This company is both ethical and exceptional in skills. We had concerns about minor performance changes in our 30 year old original fireplace, of which they addressed all. - Cierra Ashley5.0Roman is an excellent and knowledgeable technician. Truly enjoyed our experience working with Premium Chimneys and will definitely use them again in the future.August 2026Google
- Dan Ray5.0Our chimney cap blew off about a year ago and our neighbor found it in the alley. I repaired it the best I could and was planning on installing. I postponed and was waiting for cooler weather; however, birds made a nest in my chimney. Wife saif we could wait any longer, so I call called Premium Chimney. They seemed to have some good reviews. They arrived and did a free assessment. They need to wait until the birds left before they could do any work. Our house was built in 1980. They inspected the chimney and found some bricks that need to be "tucked". I accepted their quote for the chimney work and a new custom top. In the next day or two they "tucked" the brick chimney (before the birds left). Then the birds finally left about 10 days or so they arrived and installed the chimney cap. We are very pleased with knowledge and answering our question and especially keeping us "in the loop". We would certainly recommend them to anyone who needed chimney work or had questions about their chimney.August 2026Google
- Carole Gregoire5.0I had a wonderful experience with Premium Chimney, and I highly recommend them! My technician, Idan, was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was done right. He explained the work clearly, answered all of my questions, and treated my home with care and respect. My fireplace turned out absolutely beautiful—better than I imagined! The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and it has truly become a centerpiece in my living room. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you, Premium Chimney, and especially Idan, for your excellent service. If you’re looking for honest, skilled professionals who take pride in their work, this is the company to call!August 2026Google

About Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas
Chimney work in Dallas is seasonal in a way that catches people out. The fireplace sits unused from March until the first genuine cold snap in November, and then everyone in Richardson, Lake Highlands and Preston Hollow tries to light a fire on the same weekend. That is the pattern Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas works against, and it explains the unusually long published hours: 6 AM to 11 PM, Monday through Sunday, according to the Google Business Profile. Those hours suggest a company set up to take calls outside the normal working day, which matters when you have smoke backing into the living room on a Sunday evening.
The Google category is chimney sweep, and that is the core of it. A sweep removes creosote and soot from the flue, checks the damper and smoke chamber, clears the cap and screen of leaves and nesting material, and reports on what the firebox and liner look like. In North Texas the nesting material part is not a footnote. Chimney swifts arrive in spring and are federally protected while nesting, so an uncapped flue can be occupied for weeks, and squirrels treat older masonry chimneys in East Dallas as ready-made housing. A sweep who checks the cap is doing half the job of preventing next winter's blocked flue.
Who this suits: homeowners who use a wood-burning fireplace a handful of times each winter and want it cleaned and looked over before the season, plus anyone who has bought a house and inherited a fireplace with no service history. Gas log owners fall into the same bracket more often than they expect. A gas appliance still vents through a flue, and if the flue is partly obstructed or the liner has deteriorated, combustion byproducts have nowhere useful to go. Dallas housing stock spans 1920s bungalows in the M Streets, sixties brick ranch houses, and slab-built subdivisions from the eighties, and each generation has its own quirks: unlined clay flues, prefabricated metal fireboxes that have exceeded their service life, and mortar crowns cracked by decades of heat cycling and the ground movement that comes with Blackland Prairie clay soil.
Who it may not suit: if you already know you need a full masonry rebuild, a new stainless liner or a rebuilt crown, ask directly whether that work is done in-house or referred out. The profile does not list a service menu, so scope is worth confirming on the phone rather than assumed. Same goes for dryer vent cleaning and air duct work, which many chimney companies add and many do not.
On reputation, the Google Business Profile showed a 5.0 rating from 43 reviews when read on September 2, 2026. Forty-three reviews is a reasonable body of feedback for a residential trade in a metro this size, and a clean average at that volume usually points to consistent tidiness and communication rather than luck. It is still worth reading recent reviews yourself and looking for mentions of drop cloths, whether the technician showed photos of the flue interior, and whether a quoted price held.
A few things to ask before booking. Request the inspection level in plain terms, since a basic visual check and a camera scan of the full flue are different pieces of work at different prices. Ask what the sweep includes and what would be extra, for example a cap replacement or removal of a bird nest. Ask for written findings with photographs, which is what makes a report useful to an insurer or a future buyer. And if you are selling, book earlier in the year, because inspection turnaround tightens sharply once the temperature drops.
Compared with the wider Dallas market, which mixes one-truck operators with high-volume outfits that lean hard on upsells, Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas presents as a focused sweep with wide availability and a strong review record. The address on Lyndon B Johnson Freeway reads as a mailing suite rather than a showroom, which is normal for a mobile trade, so expect a service call rather than a walk-in visit. Book the appointment, get the findings in writing, and keep them for next year.

Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas FAQs
How often should a Dallas fireplace be swept?
Once a year for any wood-burning fireplace that gets used, even lightly. An annual check catches creosote buildup, a cracked crown or a blocked cap before the first cold night. Dallas fireplaces often sit idle for eight or nine months, which is plenty of time for birds, squirrels and leaf litter to make themselves at home in an uncapped flue.
What is the rating for Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas?
The Google Business Profile showed 5 out of 5 from 43 reviews when read on September 2, 2026. That is a solid body of feedback for a residential chimney company, though ratings shift over time, so check the current figure and read the most recent comments before you book.
Can I get an appointment in the evening or at the weekend?
Published hours suggest yes. The Google profile lists 6 AM to 11 PM every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday, which is wider availability than most chimney companies advertise. Whether a technician is dispatched across that entire window is worth confirming when you call (214) 301-0414.
Do gas fireplaces need sweeping too?
They need inspection, and often some cleaning. Gas logs produce far less creosote than wood, but the flue still vents combustion gases and can be obstructed by nesting material, fallen mortar or a damaged cap. A deteriorated liner on a gas appliance is a safety issue, not a cosmetic one.
Does Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas handle masonry repairs and relining?
The profile does not list a full service menu, so ask directly. Its Google category is chimney sweep, which covers cleaning and inspection. If your chimney needs a new stainless liner, a rebuilt crown or tuckpointing, confirm on the phone whether that work is done in-house or referred to a masonry contractor.
What should I expect a chimney inspection report to include?
Written findings with photographs of the flue interior, firebox, damper and crown. Photos matter because you cannot see most of a chimney from the hearth, and a documented report is what an insurer or a home buyer will want. Ask which level of inspection is being performed, since a visual check and a full camera scan differ in both scope and cost.
When is the best time of year to book?
Late summer through early autumn. Demand in Dallas spikes the week the temperature first drops, and schedules tighten quickly from there. Booking in September or October generally means more appointment choice and time to get any repairs done before you want a fire.
Is Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas licensed and insured?
We have no credential records on file for this company yet. Ask for the certificate directly from the insurer before booking work.
What areas does Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas serve?
Dallas. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
Does Premium Chimneys Sweep Dallas offer emergency service?
Emergency availability is not listed for this company. If you need an urgent call-out, check the ranking for companies that do list it.
What warranty do they offer?
Lifetime warranty included on the custom fabricated chimney cap installation. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.
