A great experience. Jessica and the team were extremely helpful in answering all questions, and the new door they installed looks fantastic! Highly recommended.

In my opinion the mobile sales man “Zack” & installer “RJ” were both decent professionals, extremely kind & knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure meeting & dealing with them both. Unfortunately, my experience with “Naz” / customer service / management, was disappointing on so many levels, I found him to be condescending, disdainful, unprofessional & foul. I’m appalled by his behavior towards paying customers, sadly making it difficult for me to recommend this company to others.

I just wanted to share my experience with DoorMaster. From the initial consultation with Zack through to the installation, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Zack kept us informed every step of the way, providing timely updates on the installation schedule and when our garage doors would be installed. The installation team arrived as scheduled, worked quickly, and did an excellent job. Their workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Well done to the entire DoorMaster team! Your prices are reasonable, the quality of the doors is excellent, and the customer service exceeded our expectations. I have already recommended your company to several friends and would not hesitate to recommend DoorMaster to anyone looking for quality garage doors and exceptional service. Thanks everyone!

Had a great experience with Tariq who helped replace my garage door spring to fix a gap I had at the bottom of the door. 5/5 Stars for Tariq, he was knowledgeable, personable and explained everything clearly. As for the cost determined by the company, only 4 stars because the tuneup/service call price is an additional cost if other work is needed - i.e., it's not waived as a diagnostic fee if proceeding with any work (as with other quotes I received). I was told it was "factored into the cost" for potential repairs over the phone so was under impression that meant it wouldn't be additional if repairs were needed.

Great work on maintenance and minor repairs to our garage door and opener. Fast and affordable service, and very flexible around my schedule. Tariq was helpful, efficient and did excellent work - thank you Tariq!. Highly recommended for quality, price and friendly, honest service. 6 out of 5 stars.

I had a great experience with DoorMaster Garage Door Services. I live in Richmond Hill and contacted them to repair my garage door. The team was professional, responsive, and completed the work efficiently at a fair and reasonable price. What impressed me the most was their customer service. I had a follow-up issue after the initial service, and when I spoke with Naz, he addressed the matter promptly and made sure everything was resolved to my satisfaction. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind its work and takes ownership of customer concerns without unnecessary back-and-forth. The pricing was competitive, the workmanship was excellent, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend DoorMaster Garage Doors to anyone looking for reliable garage door service. Thank you, Naz and the entire team!

Company Background

About Doormaster Garage Doors

Doormaster Garage Doors says it has been a family run garage door company since 1987, with its head office at 400 Matheson Blvd E, Unit 28, in Mississauga and a second store on Karl Fraser Rd in Toronto. The site lists separate local phone lines for Mississauga and Peel, Toronto and the GTA, Vaughan and York Region, and Durham Region, and it also dispatches from Hamilton and Kitchener. The service menu covers broken springs, frayed cables, off-track doors, panel replacement, rollers and hinges, opener repair, keypad and remote problems, and parts, along with new residential and commercial doors and openers. The company works with Clopay, Amarr, CHI, Garaga, Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Genie, Craftsman and Wayne Dalton products, and it advertises 24/7 emergency service with a 25 point safety inspection. It describes its technicians as licensed, bonded and insured and as uniformed and certified.

Reviews give the claims some weight. Tariq earns repeated praise: one customer called him in a snowstorm after a spring broke, and he arrived on time with every part on the truck and finished a spring, cable and drum replacement in about an hour. RJ is named for replacing a busted door and for fixing rollers and hinges while explaining each step, and Naz is thanked for resolving a follow-up issue without back and forth. One reviewer who liked the technician still gave four stars because the tune-up fee was not waived when repairs went ahead, so ask how a service call fee is treated before you agree to a visit. Doormaster Garage Doors holds 4.8 from 259 Google reviews, read 2026-10-25.

Because the company operates across Ontario and beyond, the technician who arrives may be dispatched from a regional branch rather than the Matheson Blvd office. It suits homeowners who want a fast emergency visit, a spring or cable fix done on one trip, or a new door with an opener. It suits less well anyone who wants a single owner-operator relationship or a flat promise on diagnostic fees. Ontario has no provincial garage door licence, so ask for proof of liability insurance, a WSIB clearance certificate and a written quote. Also ask for the spring cycle rating, the warranty terms on parts and labour, and whether the service call fee is credited toward the repair.

Doormaster Garage Doors FAQs

  • Does Doormaster Garage Doors in Mississauga have a licence?

Ask for proof of liability insurance, a WSIB clearance certificate and a written quote before work starts.

  • Is Doormaster Garage Doors open 24 hours for emergency repairs?

Yes, Google lists Doormaster Garage Doors as open 24 hours every day, and its website advertises 24/7 emergency garage door service. One customer reported a next-day visit after calling outside working hours, so ask for an arrival window when you call.

  • What areas and services does Doormaster Garage Doors cover?

Doormaster Garage Doors serves Mississauga, Peel, Toronto, Vaughan, York Region and Durham Region, with technicians also dispatched from Hamilton and Kitchener. It repairs springs, cables, openers and off-track doors, and installs new residential and commercial doors. Ask about warranty terms and whether the service call fee is credited toward the repair.

  • What warranty do they offer?

Warranty terms are not on file. Ask for them in writing before work starts.

  • How was this profile built?

Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.

  • Can a business pay to improve its profile?

A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
