Editorial Review

Our Take on Juma Flooring & Reno

Juma earns its place on repeat praise from homeowners who needed more than a floor laid, from flooded basements to rebuilt stairs and fresh paint. The thin spot is paperwork, since the site names no licence number.

His word is his bond. When he says he will do something, he follows through. Excellent service! Needed basement work done after flooding. We had someone prior come and tear off the walls from the flooding so all the dry wall needed repair. They fixed the drywall and painted then put in new flooring and baseboards all around. Added in new stair railings as well as they had been broken. They came out quickly and finished the job fast. With so many flood calls in the area it was difficult to find someone to come. After getting a few quotes and seeing the work they did on their social media I called Mohammed he came the next day and he gave us a good quote quickly and advised he would have some workers come out the next day to start the work. They completed everything in a few days with the quality of the work being well done. They were reliable and very quick to complete the job. Highly recommend. The communication with Mohammed was excellent and if I thought something needed addressing he showed up right away. Very happy with how things look.

Excellent service and great workmanship!<br>Juma employee’s went out of their way to make the job go to my satisfaction. The price was the original reason for choosing Juma but they are personable and did the little things that I didn’t anticipate . This is the second time I’ve chosen Juma for our flooring needs and they didn’t disappoint! Definitely use Juma again.

Company Background

About Juma Flooring & Reno

Juma Flooring & Reno is a Stoney Creek flooring and renovation company at 509 Barton Street, in the east end of amalgamated Hamilton. The business installs floors and staircases, and its website lists bathroom renovation as its second service. It says it has more than 20 years of experience, describes itself as licensed and insured, and includes a warranty on its supply and installation work. Service areas named on the site are Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Burlington and Grimsby, with past projects in more than 40 Ontario towns.

Google shows 5.0 from 134 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. The reviews cover more than floors. One homeowner had flooring and baseboards redone after a basement flood, with drywall repair and paint handled by the same company. Another hired Juma Flooring & Reno to install floors, rebuild a staircase and repaint walls. A landlord who collected four quotes for a rental refloor picked the company after Mohammad walked the job and explained the options. Reviewers also single out Sammi, who one customer says carried a bathroom installation from start to finish on his own.

A few practical points matter. The website lists Monday to Saturday hours that differ from Google, which shows Monday to Friday 10 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 2 with Sunday closed, so call before driving over. The site gives no licence number, so ask what licence or business registration sits behind the word licensed and request proof of insurance in writing.

This company suits homeowners who want one contractor to handle floors, stairs and the repairs around them. It suits less well anyone who wants a large showroom to browse, since the business reads as a quoting and installation operation. Before booking, get a written quote that names the product, the underlay, the stair work and the warranty terms, and confirm who will be on site.
