We are so so so happy with our new flooring! Ogi was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. We cannot thank him and his team enough for all the support we received when it came to advice on ripping out previous flooring, nailing down the sub floor, and general questions so that our floors were ready for their installers. So grateful to have worked with him! Thank you Ogi

We have used this company for many years getting carpets made. They are very close by so that was great! So finally we painted the house and we needed our carpets replaced going upstairs. They did the original carpets so of course we are going to call them. I called them and spoke with Ogi and he came in and looked at what we needed. It was done 2 days later. As usual they did an amazing job 👏 l would definitely recommend this company for all your flooring needs.

Company Background

About Kosco Flooring

Kosco Flooring is a family-owned flooring store at 1186 Stone Church Road East on the Hamilton Mountain, with a showroom, a crew of installers and a free in-home measuring service. The website describes a Canadian family business that has served Hamilton and nearby cities for more than 10 years and lists Hamilton and Niagara Region Consumer Choice Awards for 2014, 2017 and 2018. It carries carpet, hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl and area rugs, adds epoxy flooring, and installs quartz countertops through a separate service line. Brands named on the site include Bruce, Mohawk, Karastan, Stanton, Biyork and Engineered Floors.

The review record is deep. Google shows 4.8 from 405 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. A business owner had old carpet pulled and new carpet installed within a week. Another couple credits Ogi with helpful advice on removing the previous flooring and planning the new floor. Ali is named for taking his time on uneven stairs and transforming them. Several customers say they came back for more rooms, and one says Kosco added extra rooms to a job after it had started.

Two details are worth checking. The website lists Unit 3 while Google lists Unit 4 at the same address, so confirm before you drive over. Pricing is quoted per project, and the site publishes no warranty terms, so ask for them in writing.

Kosco Flooring suits homeowners who want to see samples in a showroom and then have the same company install them, especially for carpet, stairs and whole-floor jobs. It suits less well people who only want a refinishing specialist or a tile-only setter. Before booking, ask for the in-home estimate, request a written quote listing product, underlay and stair work, and confirm that your installers carry WSIB and liability insurance.
