Great experience & unmatched prices,
Recently bought solid hardwood from Liquidators in Hamilton and honestly, had a really good experience. Dev was great from the beginning. He took the time to explain the different types of solid hardwood they carry, the specs, and the difference between solid & engineered hardwood. He also gave me really helpful advices and, most importantly, the prices on the solid hardwood and installation were really good hard to beat compared to other places I checked. I checked out a few other places too, but ended up coming back to Liquidators bcs felt they were honest, knowledgeable, and actually cared about helping their clients. When I came back about 2 weeks later, agreed on placing the order
Everything went smoothly from there. He arranged the measurements (free), ND agreed in delivery to my home. The delivery came earlier than expected no issues , and Abdullah installation crew came early & worked really hard and got over 450 sqft done in just a couple of hours. They did a great job and cleaned up the whole area when they were finished, I returned 4 extra boxes & got refund. Really happy with the floor and the whole experience. Thanks Dev and the team, Definitely recommend them.

After shopping for flooring at several stores in the city, the service, selection and pricing at Flooring Liquidators were unmatched. Noah was very thorough and patient in explaining the difference between products, and helped us make a choice that was the best for our project. He also helped us communicate with the manufacturer for a smooth purchase! Wouldn't hesitate to shop for flooring here.

Company Background

About Flooring Liquidators Hamilton South

Flooring Liquidators Hamilton South is one of two Hamilton showrooms run under the Flooring Liquidators name, a Canadian flooring chain that lists 16 locations on its website. This one is at 205 Nebo Road on the Hamilton Mountain. The company says it opened its first Hamilton showroom in 2014. Its site lists hardwood, engineered and solid flooring, laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet, stairs and railings, moldings and commercial flooring, along with an installation calculator, an install quote request and a buy now, pay later financing option.

Google shows 4.9 from 127 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. Dev is named by a customer who bought solid hardwood and says he explained the different types before selling. Noah appears in three reviews: one couple says he and his crew worked quickly and did what he promised, another says he understood a tight renovation timeline after a poor experience with a different flooring company, and a third praises his patience in comparing products. Reviewers repeatedly mention pricing and selection compared with other stores they visited.

Chain context matters here. Flooring Liquidators is not a single local firm, and installation quality can depend on which crew is assigned. The sister store in Stoney Creek has at least one detailed complaint about a 2023 install, so ask for the installer's name, the warranty in writing and a clear scope before paying. Sunday hours run from 11 to 4, which is useful for weekend shoppers.

Flooring Liquidators Hamilton South suits shoppers who want large in-stock selection, weekend hours and an install quote from the same counter. It suits less well homeowners who want a single owner-operator to manage a custom job. Ask for the install quote in writing and confirm what is included for removal, underlay and trim.
