Editorial Review
Our Take on O'Boys Plumbing, Furnace & AC Repair
O'Boys backs up a perfect 5.0 rating with a pattern reviewers keep repeating: a real person answers the phone and a technician, often Chad, shows up the same day without an upsell pitch. Round-the-clock hours make it a genuine emergency option, which not every plumber on this list can say.

Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About O'Boys Plumbing, Furnace & AC Repair
O'Boys Plumbing, Furnace & AC Repair covers plumbing, AC and furnace work from its Lyndale Avenue South location, and its Google page shows a perfect 5.0 rating across 185 reviews, read September 17, 2026.
The theme across reviews is speed without pressure. Multiple customers mention calling and reaching a real person immediately rather than an automated menu, then getting a technician out the same day for an AC or boiler issue. One reviewer called out the company for having zero sales pressure and honest answers about their options rather than pushing an upsell. Jobs mentioned include AC system installs with thermostat walkthroughs, boiler diagnosis and repair, and general plumbing calls.
Technician Chad comes up by name across several reviews for AC and boiler work, described as efficient and willing to explain what he found and what he was doing to fix it. That kind of repeat naming suggests O'Boys keeps a small, consistent crew rather than rotating through subcontractors.
Because the company is open 24 hours every day, it is a real option for an after-hours plumbing or heating failure, not just daytime scheduling. O'Boys does not list a license number, warranty terms or free estimate policy on the pages reviewed, so those need confirming directly.
Who it suits: anyone who wants a plumber or HVAC technician who will pick up the phone and show up the same day, including nights and weekends. Who it suits less well: someone who wants a company large enough to guarantee the same technician on every visit.
Before booking, ask for the Minnesota plumbing license number, confirm whether the diagnostic visit is free, and ask what the warranty covers on any AC or furnace parts installed.
