Editorial Review

Our Take on Priority Plumbing & Drains

A lifetime warranty on installations is a stronger guarantee than most Toronto plumbers publish, and it's backed here by 1,910 Google reviews, the largest sample on this list, plus a founder who has led the company since 2001. Reviewers repeatedly naming specific technicians across very different jobs is a good sign of consistency at scale.

About Priority Plumbing & Drains

Priority Plumbing & Drains has worked out of Dupont Street in Old Toronto since 2001, founded by Austin Tsakopoulos, who still leads the company as president. It carries a 4.8 rating from 1,910 Google reviews, read September 22, 2026, the largest review base of any plumber covered in this Toronto ranking by a wide margin.

The company holds an Ontario plumbing license, P17794, and a separate heating license, 00749274, both checkable against the province's licensing records. It backs its installation work with a lifetime warranty, a stronger guarantee than the shorter terms most plumbers on this list publish, plus a stated 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Reviewers consistently name specific technicians by name across very different jobs: Zachary for a fill valve replacement and a proactive kitchen drain cleaning, Cole for an annual plumbing check-up that turned into a slow-drain and shower head fix, Ouweis for a bathroom vanity install during a renovation, and Brenden Hutchinson for diagnosing and completing a repair professionally. That pattern of repeated, specific naming across more than 1,900 reviews is a real signal of a stable, well-trained crew rather than a rotating cast.

The company is open seven days a week and covers Toronto alongside a wide stretch of the GTA: Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, North York and Etobicoke, plus named Toronto neighborhoods including the Annex, High Park, Rosedale, Don Mills and the Beaches. Its own website lists a different phone number than its Google Business Profile; this listing uses the Google number.

Priority Plumbing's site doesn't publish detailed financing terms or an explicit around-the-clock emergency claim beyond being open seven days a week, so confirm both directly.

For a Toronto homeowner who wants an established, licensed plumber with a genuinely long local history, a lifetime installation warranty, and a review base in the thousands, Priority Plumbing & Drains is a strong addition to this list.
