They have been out all summer and it’s always either ice cold where my daughter feels like an icicle or it is so humid that I can see the moisture on the floors. Doesn’t seem like they’re able to diagnose the issue and it’s very frustrating for everyone. The extreme difference in temperature can vary from day-to-day.September 2026Google

- Joanne1.0UPDATE: I am updating my review to reflect ongoing issues with Air Masters' installation quality and post-service accountability. In August 2026, two Air Masters technicians (including a senior tech) inspected our system and confirmed on-site that there were zero leaks—the system had simply been left severely undercharged during the May 2025 installation due to improper line-set calculation. Although Air Masters added the missing refrigerant at no charge, management refuses to take responsibility for the 15 months our system ran severely undercharged. Operating undercharged for over a year caused hundreds of dollars in excess electricity bills and unnecessary thermal strain on a brand-new unit. Prior to this, I called multiple times regarding poor performance—they sent technicians out twice and performed routine maintenance, yet no one ever checked or caught the low refrigerant level. To make matters worse, General Manager Tony admitted via phone that Air Masters failed to perform standard pre-installation pressure testing on the existing 32-year-old copper line set prior to installing the new unit. Despite their failure to conduct this test during installation, Tony attempted to charge me $600 to perform the line test now to try to shift blame away from their original installation mistake. Management has completely refused to reimburse our utility losses or extend our labor warranty to cover future component failures caused by this prolonged strain. Mistakes happen, but a company that refuses to stand behind its work, address installer errors, or protect the customer when things go wrong is not one I can recommend. Formal complaints have been filed with state regulatory agencies and the BBB. Overall I've been disappointed with how things were handled after the install. 1st, I was told I would get a rebate from Teco, I have yet to receive any rebates even though it clearly says on my invoice I would receive one. When I called in I was told the girl that handles that dropped the ball and that even though the paperwork wasn't sent in by the deadline I should still receive the rebate. Nope, even after submitting the paperwork and then resubmiting the paperwork because of another issue, Ive gotten nothing. Then I realized after several months Ive never seen the county come out to inspect the unit. Very concerning since anything can happen if it was installed incorrectly. Then fast forward to this winter. I cant get the heat to come on for an almost $14,000 unit to warm my home when it dropped below 30. They send a tech out that tells me he has no idea how to set up the Ecobee thermostat I have. The guy checks everything and leaves. Still, its not heating the house. I ended up realizing it was the thermostat that was set up incorrectly. What a huge disappointment. Now Ive been trying to get them out to do my 1 year check up and maintenance, they have tried to reschedule twice. I finally snapped and told them they will not change the window again. We have plans already. We may not even extend the service plan with them if Saturday doesnt go well. How annoying. Ill use another company next time we need a unit.September 2026Google
