- LucyGrace Kid5.0MDM solved my tankless water heater problems quickly and professionally. They accommodated my schedule by planning a late afternoon appointment. Unfortunately, they ran into issues on their end and were running late, but they called to let me know so I wasn’t waiting around - I don’t know too many companies who would provide the same courtesy. I was pleased that they were able to resolve the problem with the first visit, despite warning me that finding parts for such an old tankless water heater could be problematic. As well Mike answered all my questions (without making me feel like an idiot). Overall, very professional, transparent, and courteous.September 2026Google

- M alhashimy5.0MDM replaced the water heater tank in my home, they provided competitive prices for high quality products, they completed the work in high professional standings. Their pricing for the product including installation beat many well known and established companies in the market.August 2026Google
- Mark Brooks5.0Michael was very quick to respond to our emergency with the pool heater. He checked the potential problem and quickly resolved the issue without the need for expensive parts. About MDM Mechanical
MDM Mechanical is a licensed and insured mechanical contractor listed at 209 East 13th Street on the Hamilton Mountain, with a second address on Henry Street in Brantford. Google shows 142 reviews at a perfect 5.0 average, read September 24, 2026. Google lists hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, closed on weekends.
MDM sits where plumbing meets heating. Its website lists residential and commercial plumbing installation and drainage, water heaters, and gas fitting and piping for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, alongside boilers, radiant heating, furnaces, air conditioning and rooftop units. That mix suits homes with hot water boilers, where the water heater and the heating system can be tied together. MDM offers leasing and financing through Financeit and promises a 100% satisfaction guarantee on its work. It serves Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Binbrook, Waterdown, Flamborough, Burlington, Grimsby and Brantford, among other places. Michael Mead is the main contact named throughout the website.
Reviews name Michael again and again. Alex had a leaking tank replaced with a tankless water heater, including the gas line, hot and cold supply lines and venting, and said the installation was clean and tested to code. Brad said Michael had serviced his old hydronic boiler for years and, when a tank heater started leaking, recommended an indirect water heater with a new boiler that now gives his family of six steady hot water. Nick replaced an eight-year-old boiler at a triplex after another company's repeated repairs failed and praised the workmanship. Mark said Michael fixed a pool heater problem without expensive parts and kept costs in mind.
The limits are plain. Most reviews describe heating and water heater work rather than drain or sewer repair, Google lists weekday hours only, and the contact email is a Gmail address.
MDM suits a Hamilton homeowner who wants a new water heater, an indirect tank tied to a boiler, or new gas piping, done by the person who quotes it. It suits less well a clogged drain or a weekend emergency. Confirm the Ontario certificate of qualification and TSSA registration for gas work, and ask who pulls the City of Hamilton permit.
