Our Take on Minneapolis & Suburban Sewer and Water
This is a narrow specialist, sewer line repair and relining only, but its approved status with the City of Minneapolis and its 4.9 rating from 53 reviews make it a strong pick for exactly that job. It is not a fit for general plumbing calls.

Recent Google Reviews
- MarieT Walker5.0The city was unable to turn off our water for a plumbing repair and sent us a letter stating that our valve pipe at the street was bent and we were responsible for repair. I reached out to Ron and Kevin at Minneapolis Suburban Sewer and Water and they went above and beyond to fix the valve without needing to replace the pipe. The valve was stuck because the house is older. After working to blow out debris and remove corrosion, they were able to get the valve to open and close, saving us a lot of money. They made several trips to the house and coordinated with the city to approve the work. Their charge was extremely reasonable. I cannot say enough about their professionalism, honesty and communication. I would highly recommend their company.August 2026Google
- Mike Jaszewski5.0Great service! They’re personable and professional and they explained the process really well. Highly recommended!August 2026Google
- Sheila Colgan5.0I had to have my sewer line repaired in my 1900 home due to cracks in an old cast iron sewer pipe and tree roots getting inside the line and clogging it. Minneapolis & Suburban Sewer and Water was the lowest priced bid, their bid included a longer liner and a less invasive process in my basement. They arrived on time and did a wonderful job-included cleaning up the area around where they had to dig in the front yard. I highly recommend them!July 2026Google
- Patti Herbst5.0Excellent, friendly service! We would definitely recommend to friends and family. A÷ work.July 2026Google

About Minneapolis & Suburban Sewer and Water
Minneapolis & Suburban Sewer and Water works from a 45th Avenue South address and holds a 4.9 rating from 53 Google reviews, read September 17, 2026, with sewer line repair and relining as its sole focus rather than general plumbing.
Reviewers repeatedly mention the company's place on Minneapolis's approved sewer repair provider list, which matters for homeowners responding to a city-mandated sewer inspection or point-of-sale requirement. One customer with a 100-plus-year-old home and a cracked cast iron sewer line said the company's bid was the lowest of several and included a longer liner and a less invasive process through the basement than competitors proposed. Another reviewer called the process winning the sewer repair lottery, since the company was one of the city's approved providers, and said technician Kevin kept them updated through weather delays that pushed the schedule.
A real estate agent reviewer noted the company reviewed a buyer's sewer scope report and discussed a repair estimate even for a property outside its usual service area, describing technician Ron as generous with his time and knowledgeable.
Because the company works almost exclusively in sewer and water line repair, it is not a general plumbing call for a leaky faucet or a clogged drain. Hours run seven days a week, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The company does not publish a license number or formal warranty terms on the pages reviewed.
Who it suits: homeowners with a sewer line problem, especially one tied to a city inspection or a home sale. Who it suits less well: anyone who wants a single plumber for both sewer work and everyday plumbing repairs.
Before booking, confirm the company's current status on Minneapolis's approved sewer provider list, get the excavation and restoration scope in writing, and ask about the warranty on the liner or replacement pipe.
