Editorial Review
Our Take on Waterproofing PD - Etobicoke, Toronto
A perfect 5.0 across 59 Google reviews, a staffed Etobicoke address and a long list of basement services make this a credible pick for wet basements that may also need structural work. The site is marketing heavy and its warranty wording is inconsistent, so treat the written contract as the real promise.

Company Background
About Waterproofing PD - Etobicoke, Toronto
Waterproofing PD - Etobicoke, Toronto is a family-owned and veteran-owned basement waterproofing contractor that has worked in Toronto since 2010, when the business operated as Edko Enterprise. The crew works out of 5048 Dundas St W in Etobicoke and the site also lists a Mississauga office at 3200 Wharton Way. Its service area page names Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill among about 40 communities across the GTA and Southern Ontario.
The core work is exterior and interior basement waterproofing, sump pump installation and maintenance, wet basement inspections with a written report, foundation parging, crack repair and foundation repair. It also does underpinning, bench underpinning, basement lowering, slab replacement and egress windows, which suits homeowners who are waterproofing and finishing a basement in the same project. The site says the company takes part in the City of Toronto Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program, which can offset part of the cost of items such as backwater valves and sump pumps with battery backup on eligible homes.
Waterproofing PD - Etobicoke, Toronto holds 5.0 from 59 Google reviews, read October 22, 2026. Google's breakdown shows 57 five-star and 2 four-star ratings, with nothing lower. Emergency wet basement service is advertised, estimates are free and itemized within 24 hours, and Google lists hours of 7 am to 8:30 pm on weekdays, 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday. The company says its staff carry WSIB coverage and AODA, WHMIS and WHSA training and that it is insured, though it publishes no policy or certificate numbers.
The warranty wording deserves a careful read. Some service pages promise a lifetime warranty and others say 25 years, and sump pump installation is described with a 10-year labour warranty plus a 2 to 3 year manufacturer warranty on the pump itself. Transferability is not spelled out on the warranty page.
This company suits Toronto homeowners with a wet or damp basement who want one contractor for waterproofing and structural basement work. It suits less well anyone who needs financing, which the site does not mention, or who prefers a smaller crew with a narrower service list. Ontario has no waterproofing-specific licence, so before booking ask for a WSIB clearance certificate and proof of liability insurance, look the company up on the Ontario Business Registry, and get the warranty term, transferability and exclusions in writing.
