Company Background
About Asmara Garage Door Repair Edmonton
Asmara Garage Door Repair Edmonton operates from 13319 115 St NW, on the north side of the city, and is run by owner Emmanuel Werede. The company says it has been working in Edmonton since 2023 and has repaired more than 1,000 doors in that time. Its service list covers spring and cable replacement, opener repair, sensor and remote work, off-track doors, rollers, panel replacement, weather stripping and new door installation, plus commercial overhead door repair and maintenance. The site names service pages for South Edmonton, West Edmonton, North Edmonton, Downtown, Windermere, Mill Woods, Whyte Ave and Old Strathcona, and for Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Beaumont, Stony Plain, Fort Saskatchewan and Nisku.
The reviews carry most of the case. Google shows 5.0 from 153 reviews, and almost every one names Emmanuel. One homeowner says two other companies told him to replace his whole door and Emmanuel repaired it in a couple of hours for far less. A Forest Heights customer called at night with a snapped spring and a car stuck inside, and got both springs replaced plus a short lesson in routine lubrication. Others mention replacing safety sensors, programming remotes and keypads, a motor swap and a spring conversion. Google lists the business as open 24 hours, and several reviewers say they were seen within two hours or the next day.
The company states a free on-site inspection, a price confirmed before approved work begins, same-day and emergency service, and a 3-year warranty on parts, doors and installation. It also says its technicians are licensed, bonded and insured, though it publishes no certificate or licence number. Alberta does not license garage door contractors provincially. Confirm the business with the City of Edmonton business licence lookup, the Alberta Corporate Registry, and a WCB Alberta clearance letter.
It suits homeowners with a broken spring, cable or opener who want one owner on the job and a quick response, and small commercial doors. It suits less well anyone who wants a large crew, a showroom, or a long track record, since the company says it started in 2023 and describes itself as owner-operated. Before booking, ask for a written quote, the spring cycle rating, the warranty terms in writing, and proof of insurance and WCB coverage.
