Company Background
About Berintek Garage Doors Inc.
Berintek Garage Doors Inc. works out of an office suite at 1187 Bank Street in Old Ottawa South, a short walk from the Glebe, and reviewers describe a company that answers quickly and shows up the same day. It holds a 5.0 rating from 392 Google reviews, read October 25, 2026, and sits first on Google for Ottawa garage door searches. Most of the praise is for door replacements. One homeowner called the quote fast and honest about which features were worth paying for. Another said a technician returned that evening to stabilize a damaged door at no charge while the new one was on order. Reviewers name Max, John, Eunice and Kobi on the install and quote side, and Leo as the person who sorted out an imperfect panel by replacing it outright.
The company repairs doors, replaces springs and cables, installs and repairs openers, and supplies and installs new residential and commercial doors, along with panels, weatherstripping, framing and window inserts. Its site lists Ottawa, Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Orleans, Barrhaven and Gloucester. Google shows the business open 24 hours every day. Berintek says it belongs to the Ottawa Construction Association and the Ottawa Board of Trade, displays a Better Business Bureau badge, and names Leonid Stepchenkov as CEO. The office also doubles as a showroom, where you can book a time to look at door panels and colours in person.
Warranty terms are published on a dedicated page and vary by part and by door collection.
Berintek suits homeowners replacing an old or damaged door who want a fast quote, a clean install and a same-day response. It suits less well anyone who wants a long-established firm with a stated founding year, or a published licence number, because the site gives neither. Before booking, ask for a written quote, the spring cycle rating on any replacement spring, and the exact warranty tier that applies to your job. Ontario does not license garage door contractors provincially, so check the company in the Ontario Business Registry, ask for a WSIB clearance certificate, and look at the City of Ottawa business licence where one applies.

The company says its technicians are trained, certified and fully insured, and that it belongs to the Ottawa Construction Association and the Ottawa Board of Trade. Check the Ontario Business Registry, ask for a WSIB clearance certificate and a certificate of insurance, and confirm any City of Ottawa business licence before you book.
Does Berintek Garage Doors offer 24 hour or same-day service in Ottawa?
Yes, same-day service is a stated guarantee. Berintek says its customer service is open 24/7 and Google lists the business as open 24 hours every day. Reviewers describe same-day assessments, with one homeowner getting a new door and hardware installed the same day they called. Emergency availability can vary, so confirm the arrival time when you phone (613) 612-8733.
What warranty does Berintek Garage Doors give, and where does it work?
Berintek publishes a tiered warranty. Standard hardware carries 2 years on parts and labour and premium hardware 4 years. New doors carry 3 to 6 years on parts, and an opener supplied and installed by Berintek carries 5 years, extendable to 7 for a fee. The site lists Ottawa, Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Orleans, Barrhaven and Gloucester as service areas. Financing is not mentioned, so ask before you book.
Is Berintek Garage Doors Inc. licensed and insured?
We checked 0 of 3 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.
What areas does Berintek Garage Doors Inc. serve?
Ottawa. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
Does Berintek Garage Doors Inc. offer emergency service?
Yes, the company lists emergency availability. Response time depends on demand, and after a storm every company in the market is stretched.
What warranty do they offer?
Tiered by part: standard hardware 2 years parts and labour, premium hardware 4 years, new doors 3 to 6 years on parts, openers supplied and installed 5 years (7 with an extension).. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.
