Editorial Review
Our Take on Direct Air Conditioning
Three decades in Miami, a review base past 2,700, and three straight years of Angi Super Service Awards give Direct Air Conditioning a track record that's hard to match, backed by real, published HVAC and electrical licence numbers.
Best for: Lennox installation with electrical and plumbing under one roof
What We Like
- One of the largest review counts in Miami HVAC, with 2,724 reviews at a 4.8 average
- Licensed as both a state Certified Air Conditioning Contractor and Certified Electrical Contractor
- True 24/7 availability for repairs
- Covers the full range: repair, installation, heat pumps, duct cleaning, and maintenance plans
- Large enough fleet to handle same-day emergency calls citywide
Things to Consider
- Being a bigger operation, service can feel less personal than a small family shop
- Popular appointment windows can book up during hurricane season and heat waves
- A handful of reviews mention pricing on standard repairs running a bit higher than smaller competitors

About Direct Air Conditioning
Direct Air Conditioning has operated in Miami since 1995, giving it 30 years of local history, and its Google page currently averages 4.8 stars across 2,724 reviews, read September 22, 2026, one of the largest review bases in this ranking.
The company publishes its Florida HVAC contractor license (#CAC1822092) and electrical license (#EC0001318) directly on its site, along with licenses for an associated Snyder division (HVAC #CAC1815743, electrical #EC13015660, plumbing #CFC1432544), and employs NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified technicians. Direct Air partners with Lennox and has won Angi Super Service Awards in three consecutive years, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
The service list covers AC repair, installation and replacement, maintenance, air quality services, air duct cleaning, air purification, electrical services, and plumbing services, a genuinely multi-trade operation rather than HVAC alone. The company offers 24/7 emergency service with live answering, free estimates, and financing options, and states an "impressive warranty" on installations without detailing exact terms.
Service reaches Miami, Coral Gables, Hialeah, Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Opa-locka, and the broader Miami-Dade County.
Direct Air Conditioning suits a homeowner who wants a long-tenured, multi-license company with NATE certified technicians and genuine third-party awards. It suits less well someone who wants specific warranty terms spelled out before booking. Ask for the technician's Florida CAC licence number to confirm and current warranty terms before signing for an installation.
