Our Take on Downtown Air and Heat
Downtown Air and Heat is a good match for anyone who values a predictable appointment over 24-hour emergency coverage. The set hours are a genuine limitation if your AC dies at midnight, but the 4.9-star track record shows the trade-off pays off for scheduled work.
Best for: Homeowners who want a straightforward, appointment-based AC company near downtown

iAbout service coverage
Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About Downtown Air and Heat
Downtown Air and Heat runs a tighter operation than the larger names on this list, with set business hours, Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm, rather than round-the-clock dispatch. That structure has not hurt its reputation: 312 Google reviews average 4.9 stars, a rating that puts it among the highest-rated AC companies in Orlando regardless of size. The East Jersey Street location near SoDo keeps the company close to downtown, and the CAC1817519 license confirms proper Florida air conditioning contractor certification. Reviewers describe a company that shows up on schedule and communicates clearly about arrival windows, the kind of reliability that matters when you have taken time off work for an appointment.

Downtown Air and Heat FAQs
What are Downtown Air and Heat's business hours?
Downtown Air and Heat is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm and is closed on Sundays, rather than offering 24-hour emergency dispatch.
Is Downtown Air and Heat licensed and insured?
We checked 0 of 3 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.
What areas does Downtown Air and Heat serve?
Orlando. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
Does Downtown Air and Heat offer emergency service?
Yes, the company lists emergency availability. Response time depends on demand, and after a storm every company in the market is stretched.
What warranty do they offer?
Air conditioning and heating services guaranteed for one year. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.
How was this profile built?
Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.
Can a business pay to improve its profile?
A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
Is Something Incorrect?
Business information changes. Tell us about an address, phone, website, service area, credential or ownership change, or let us know if this company has closed.
