Editorial Review

Our Take on EHC Inc Electrical Heating Cooling

A decade in business, a published Massachusetts license, and reviewers who name technicians by name for cold climate heat pump work make EHC Inc a strong specialist pick. The lack of a published warranty term is the one detail worth pinning down before a major install.

About EHC Inc Electrical Heating Cooling

EHC Inc has been installing HVAC and electrical systems around Boston's Back Bay since 2015, and its specialty is squarely on the technology homeowners are increasingly asking for: ductless mini splits, hyper heat cold climate heat pumps, and multi zone systems designed for the condos and older buildings common in the neighborhood. The company holds Massachusetts license MA-3168-A1 and a separate Connecticut license, and describes itself as fully insured for both residential and commercial jobs.

Reviewers name several technicians directly, including Thomas, James, Molly and Connor, credited with clean high efficiency installs and clear explanations of how a heat pump system will perform through a New England winter. That level of technical fluency shows up in the service list too: EHC pairs its HVAC work with electrical services like EV charger installation, load management and smart electrical panels, useful for a homeowner planning a heat pump conversion that also needs an electrical upgrade to support it.

The company's coverage area is broader than its Back Bay address suggests, reaching the South Shore, Worcester County, Cape Cod and into eastern Connecticut along the I-395 and I-95 corridors. Emergency after hours service is available Monday through Friday, though the company does not advertise weekend emergency coverage, a detail worth confirming if a system fails on a Saturday.

At 4.8 stars from 266 Google reviews, read September 20, 2026, EHC Inc has built a strong record with more than 250 five star reviews by its own count. What is not published on the site is a specific warranty term or financing program, so anyone budgeting for a full heat pump conversion should ask directly what is covered and for how long.

This company is a strong fit for Boston homeowners specifically interested in ductless and heat pump technology, especially anyone also considering an EV charger or panel upgrade at the same time. It is a less natural fit for someone who needs weekend emergency service or a traditional oil furnace repair, since the company's public materials lean toward electrification work. Confirm the warranty terms and ask whether weekend dispatch is available before booking a time sensitive repair.
