Our Take on Flooring and Home

Flooring and Home is the better fit for shoppers who want a person to talk a floor through and send samples home. Its install side is real but thinly described, so get warranty terms in writing.

Great shopping experience! Sales staff friendly, helpful, non-pushy, turnaround time reasonable, and flooring was delivered on time--not to mention we're really happy with the quality and beauty of our hardwood (Mirage)! Thank you.

As the owner of a luxury renovation company in Toronto, I work with a lot of suppliers — and Flooring and Home stands out every time. Their professionalism is second to none: quotes are accurate, timelines are respected, and communication is always clear and prompt.

The quality of their products speaks for itself. Their selection of flooring is excellent, and everything we've installed from them has performed beautifully in our high-end projects. Our clients notice the difference.

What really keeps us coming back, though, is the atmosphere. The team is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help — whether it's a big order or a quick question. Walking into their showroom feels like visiting people who truly care about your project.

Highly recommend Flooring and Home to any homeowner or contractor looking for quality products and a team that treats you right. Fantastic experience with Floor + Home. Their showroom was clean and pleasant, with a great selection of flooring with large samples to make comparing easy. The customer service was top-notch and I had the pleasure of working with Aftab, Daniela and Nicole, all of whom were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and fun to work with! My second floor project included removal of 400+ sq. ft. of carpet and underpadding, installation of: plywood subfloor, 3/4" engineered white oak hardwood, baseboards and shoe molds. I got the best price on the hardwood and a very reasonable cost for the work. The installation team were hard-working, meticulous and skilled. They custom-made the nosing around my stairwell and installed it with perfect joints. The results are very high quality and the flooring looks beautiful. I can't wait to hire Floor + Home again to do my first floor!

I will definitely use them again for any future flooring projects.

Company Background

About Flooring and Home

Flooring and Home is a flooring showroom at 143 Bermondsey Road in North York, close to the Victoria Park and Eglinton corner. The product range covers hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, carpet, area rugs and commercial flooring, with bathroom vanities, Stonewood and composite decking as side lines. Samples can be taken home to view in your own light, and the company offers an interior design consultation for people who want help narrowing a choice.

The service model is consultative. The company says staff ask about how a household lives before recommending a floor, and its About page names five team members: Aftab Khan, Nicole Coates, Daniela Cabral, Ben Khan and Chris Bailey. Installation is offered by what the site calls a certified installation team that handles subfloor preparation through finish work, with minimal disruption and warranty protection. The site does not state how long that warranty lasts or what certification the team holds, so ask.

Flooring and Home holds 4.8 from 159 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. That is a solid base for a neighbourhood showroom, and the rating suggests customers are mostly happy with selection and service. The product lines include names such as Mercier, Anderson Tuftex, Beaulieu and Biyork, which gives carpet and hardwood shoppers more brands than a discount warehouse carries.

The fair caveat is that installation is presented as one service among several and the site gives little detail on crew size, prices or timelines. There is no founding year on the site, and no licence or WSIB number is published.

It suits homeowners in Scarborough, East York and North York who want to talk through a floor with a person, take samples home and book installation through the same shop. It suits less well buyers who mostly want a posted price list or a specialist stair and refinishing crew. Before booking, ask for an itemized written quote, the installation warranty terms in writing, and proof of liability insurance and WSIB coverage. Ontario does not licence flooring installers provincially, so those documents are your check.
