We recently completed renovations on our home and were looking for a very specific flooring, "Tatra Peak" in stock. Mutaz and his team helped to deliver exactly what we wanted and we are extremely satisfied with the product but mostly with their service. We will be going back to purchase more flooring for the next phase of renovations. Thanks Mutaz!

I was looking for flooring for a long time and wish I had come here in the first place. There were plentiful options for flooring and Mays was extraordinary - calling suppliers for me on the spot and doing her best to get me the best possible price. Her knowledge and opinions were great too. Definitely coming back when we need to finish our basement!

Canadian Flooring provided excellent service, assisting us in getting new engineering hardwood flooring for our home. The Owner helped us make a decision on the flooring, giving all the pros / cons of each possible choice. When there were issues with supply, they assisted in helping us to arrange for the materials to be delivered from out of province. They were able to advise on how to level the floors to get rid of prior creaks and the installation went perfectly. The lead installer Sam was particularly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide sound advice at every step as well as also installing multiple custom transitions to ensure the flooring blended properly with any adjacent tiles / flooring. Highly recommend!

Company Background

About Canadian Flooring

Canadian Flooring is a flooring showroom at 2687 Steeles Avenue West in North York, on the southeast corner of Steeles and Petrolia Road. It is open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and on weekends from 10:30 AM to 4 PM, which makes it one of the few shops on this list open on Sunday.

The online catalog is unusually detailed. Hardwood is searchable by species, plank size, brand and price, with red oak, white oak, hard maple and hickory in the mix, and engineered white oak makes up a large share of the listings. Vinyl, laminate, premium carpet and porcelain and ceramic tile sit alongside, and the company says retailers, contractors, installers, architects and designers across Ontario buy from it as well as homeowners.

Installation works through a handoff. The company's installation page says it has its own professional installers: you choose the material at the showroom and it arranges for an installer to contact you promptly. It also offers delivery. Because the process starts with the material sale, ask who is actually on the crew, who carries the warranty on labour, and what the installer will do about subfloor preparation.

Canadian Flooring holds 4.6 from 249 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. It clears our 4.5 floor with a sizeable review base, though the rating sits below the 4.8 and 4.9 scores of several showrooms here, so read recent reviews on delivery and scheduling before ordering.

The fair caveat is how little the site says about the installation side. No warranty length, crew size, certification, licence or WSIB number is published, and no founding year appears.

It suits buyers who want to see a large hardwood and engineered wood range in person, including on a Sunday, and who are comfortable managing the installer relationship. It suits less well anyone who wants a single price covering material and labour. Before booking, ask for a written quote that separates material, labour and delivery, the labour warranty in writing, and proof of liability insurance and WSIB coverage. Ontario does not licence flooring installers provincially, so those documents are your check.

Canadian Flooring FAQs

  • Does Canadian Flooring have its own installers?

Its installation page says it has its own professional installers. You choose the flooring at the Steeles Avenue West showroom and it arranges for an installer to contact you. It does not publish a labour warranty, so get that in writing before you order.

  • Is Canadian Flooring open on Sundays?

Yes. Hours are Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 10:30 AM to 4 PM, at 2687 Steeles Avenue West in North York. Call 416-735-0075 or email info@canfloor.com for quicker responses, as its site suggests.

  • Is Canadian Flooring licensed and insured?

Its site does not publish a licence, WSIB or insurance detail, and Ontario does not licence flooring installers provincially. Ask the installer for a liability insurance certificate and a WSIB clearance certificate, and ask who carries the labour warranty.

  • Is Canadian Flooring licensed and insured?

We have no credential records on file for this company yet. Ask for the certificate directly from the insurer before booking work.

  • What areas does Canadian Flooring serve?

Toronto. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.

  • Does Canadian Flooring offer emergency service?

Emergency availability is not listed for this company. If you need an urgent call-out, check the ranking for companies that do list it.

  • What warranty do they offer?

Warranty terms are not on file. Ask for them in writing before work starts.

  • How was this profile built?

Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.

  • Can a business pay to improve its profile?

A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
