iAbout service coverage
Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About JLH Heating and Air Conditioning
JLH Heating and Air Conditioning has operated from a Wyoming Avenue location in Detroit for roughly two decades and holds Armstrong Air Factory Authorized Dealer status, meaning its installers train directly with that manufacturer. Technicians carry both EPA and NATE certifications, and the company won a 2016 NEIdea Award from the New Economy Initiative Challenge, a regional recognition for Detroit-area small businesses.
The service list covers furnaces, air conditioning, boilers, water heaters, indoor air quality systems, chimney lining, and ongoing maintenance or service contracts. The company's service area is broad, reaching Southfield, Livonia, Madison Heights, Royal Oak, Eastpointe, Troy, Lincoln Park, Hazel Park, Inkster, Ferndale, Redford, West Bloomfield, Oak Park, Romulus, and Bloomfield Hills in addition to Detroit itself.
Reviewer Afsana Uddin describes technician Dave installing a central air unit about four years ago and returning promptly when a later issue came up, calling the pricing very fair, and reviewer Brittany Turner calls it the best heating and cooling company she has worked with, citing thorough, high-quality service.
The company does not publish a specific Michigan license number, a direct contact email, financing options, or warranty terms on its site, and no emergency or 24/7 service is explicitly stated, so those points are worth confirming directly.
JLH suits homeowners who specifically want Armstrong Air equipment installed by a factory-authorized dealer with EPA and NATE-certified technicians. It suits less well someone who needs guaranteed after-hours emergency service, since none is advertised. Ask for the Michigan mechanical contractor license number and confirm current hours and warranty terms before booking.
