Steve was a pleasure to work with, friendly and approachable, and a true professional. The European oak planks are stunning .
Matt installed the chevron pattern, one of the very few in the city who does this intricate work as I understand. He is a true artisan and takes pride in his craft. I highly recommend Logsend.

We purchased approximately 1200 ft.² of the 5 inch wide engineered flooring. The pricing was great, very reasonable for the product were received. We installed the flooring ourselves and it went very well. Having installed other hardwood floors before I have to say this was one of the nicest floors I’ve ever installed. The floor is very easy to take care of and clean and, so far it, has worn well.

The staff at Logs End were very easy to work with, very knowledgable of their products and provided excellent tips on how to install and take care of the flooring.

We would highly recommend this company and their engineered flooring.

Years ago log's end put a white pine floor in the master bedroom of our cottage and we enjoyed the warmth and softness of the finish for many years
We just moved to Ottawa and needed to redo the floors in three bedrooms, a hallway passage so we opted Lor log's end one more time. Needless to say that we were very pleased with the workmanship and the choice of flooring.
We were so satisfied with the previous two experiences with log's end, and on the suggestion from Rob Black at Log's end who had personally come to our home to consult with us, we decided to go ahead to have our staircase redone. His suggestion was for us to match the staircase with that of our living dining room floors which are in oak. We did. It was the best decision we ever made . The workmanship, the attention to detail on the part of the craftsmen from log's end was exemplary.
They were extremely respectful of our premises. The left the areas of work in excellent condition, having vacuumed all areas, even repairing small areas not included in the contract. Mike even ventured to offer an artistic eye at one point to make things look better.. We highly recommend Log's end. They are extremely professional, attentive , caring and dedicated.
Thank you all
Clare Linton and Mel Shea

Company Background

About Logs End Inc

Logs End Inc works out of 66 Iber Road in Stittsville, on the western edge of Ottawa. What sets it apart is the wood. The company sells reclaimed old-growth timber from the Ottawa Valley, and its website says many of the logs were recovered from the Ottawa River. Boards cut from that timber have a character that new-growth flooring rarely matches.

The firm is Canadian owned and runs a showroom where you can handle samples. It installs hardwood floors and also carries a luxury vinyl plank collection for homeowners who want a more budget-friendly or moisture-tolerant option. Rob is the contact named on the site, and his name comes up repeatedly in reviews.

Logs End holds 4.9 stars from 84 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. Customers praise Rob for his help and the install team for their work. That is a high score on a decent sample. The company is a specialist, so the review pool is smaller than at the big chains.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 9 to 5 and Friday 9 to 4. Weekends are closed. The phone is (613) 831-9333.

Logs End suits homeowners who care about the origin of the wood, who are doing a main floor or a feature room in solid hardwood, and who are willing to pay for something with a story. It suits less well anyone chasing the lowest price per square foot or a quick carpet and tile job, because the product line is narrow by design. Before booking, ask how the timber was dried and milled, what moisture reading your subfloor needs before install, how the boards acclimatize in your home through an Ottawa winter, and what the installation warranty covers in writing.
