I would hire Luke again. He did the work well and quickly. Luke suggested an improvement to my initial plan and it worked out well. It is nice when a contractor can make suggestions that make your project look better.

Luke came when he said he would and finished the job on a timely basis.

The work that was done included exterior painting, caulking, and a little carpentry.

Excellent service. Needed a vanity and mirror reinstalled and Lukas came very quickly and fixed it fast. He fixed it for the low end of the estimate which was lower then then the other contractors offered. He also provided follow up service at no additional cost, which was great appreciated.

Company Background

About Lukas Renovation

Lukas Renovation operates from 2311 Lake Shore Boulevard West in Etobicoke, close to Mimico and the Humber Bay Shores. The company's about page says it was founded in 2007 by Lukasz Kwietniewski, who came to Canada from Poland, worked in the construction trade and then started his own renovation business. It describes itself as a family business.

The service list is practical and broad. Kitchen renovation, bathroom renovation and basement renovation sit beside drywall repair, popcorn ceiling removal, interior and exterior painting, tiling, hardwood flooring, waterproofing, general contracting and structural repairs. Water damage restoration is also listed. That mix suits owners who have several smaller to medium jobs and prefer one contractor to coordinate them rather than hiring a separate specialist for each. Home additions are not listed.

The company states it is insured and bonded and meets Toronto safety and code requirements, but no licence or bond numbers are shown and WSIB is not mentioned on the pages we read. It offers a one-year warranty on labour and materials and a satisfaction guarantee. The home page quotes 15-plus and 20-plus years of experience in different places, while the about page gives the 2007 founding year, which we have used.

Google shows 4.9 stars from 102 reviews, read 2026-10-30, which is the third largest review base in this ranking. The office is open 9 AM to 5 PM every day, and the site shows a branded company vehicle.

Lukas Renovation suits west-end homeowners, from Mimico and Etobicoke to the Junction and High Park, who want a family-run company for kitchens, bathrooms, basements and finish work with a straightforward one-year warranty. It suits less well anyone planning an addition or a large structural project, since those are not shown as services.

Before booking, ask for a written itemized quote, a current WSIB clearance certificate, a liability insurance certificate and the warranty in writing. Ontario has no provincial renovation licence, so confirm permit responsibility with the City of Toronto before work starts.
