    Outstanding service. Most repair services will come out to diagnose the issue and then order any parts necessary for follow-up visits. In our case, Modern Appliance saved us time by pre-ordering the parts that were required (given the description of the symptoms). When the technician Peter arrived, he was polite and professional. The repair was expertly completed using only the necessary parts. One of the issues was a thermostat that most repair services would have replaced. Peter somehow cleaned it and got it to work without having to replace it. His honesty saved us the replacement cost. Our dryer is back up and running with a very reasonable repair bill. Thank you Peter and Modern Appliance! ☺

Rather than simply recommending an expensive repair, he took the time to carefully calculate the likely cost and explained that, given the extent of the problems, purchasing a new stove would be the more economical option. He even went a step further and recommended reputable places to purchase one and suggested specific models worth considering. I truly appreciate this kind of candor and customer service. Peter's approach demonstrated that he was more interested in providing the right advice than simply making a sale or charging for unnecessary repairs.
