Excellent work by Renato and Pro Roofing Services crew! Renato’s work ethic, attention to detail, and quality of workmanship really stood out. He takes pride in doing the job properly and left the property exceptionally clean after completion. The fees were also very reasonable for the quality of work provided. Highly recommend Pro Roofing Services!

All we can say is WOW! From the first time Renato came to our home he was fully transparent. Showed us all of his insurance documents and certifications. It is very challenging in this day and age (with all of the bad actors and scammers) to make a decision on who to hire for large jobs and purchases, but sometimes you just have to go with that gut feeling. Renato was so very professional from our first meeting. He kept in touch on the estimated timeline exactly as promised and boy did he and his team deliver! Such a hardworking group who clearly work well together. Pricing was more than reasonable. No hidden costs and when they were finished, there was not one single piece of debris left on our property. Thanks Renato and team!!! You guys were the best and we highly recommend you. Many neighbours have commented on how great everything looks. Thanks again! Rob and Tami Henderson

I would like to start out by stating that from my 1st phone call to Pro Roofing Services, (Mr. Renato Da Silva) to the final day, we had nothing but professional, courteous and well qualified people on site. This all started with the owner of Pro Roofing Services Mr. Renato Da Silva coming to our home to provide us with an assessment of our roof and a quote for same. Mr. Da Silva was extremely knowledgeable and honest. He explained absolutely everything in great detail and exactly what was required and why. There was never any pressure whatsoever to hire his company. Our decision was based on facts and the honesty and credibility of Mr. Da Silva and Pro Roofing Services. What a pleasure and comfort it was to see just how much effort went into protecting our property while this work was being done and this was exemplified by positive comments by our Neighbours. Mr. Da Silva not only supervised the entire project but was one of the working crew. He was on site from start to finish and he leads by example, a very hard worker who takes pride in his work. Renato's attention to detail is amazing. The work provided was a new roof on our home and shed, a new skylight and upgraded insulation. They use only high-quality products, and materials. We would not hesitate to recommend Pro Roofing Services, a company that came when they said they would come, did what they said they would do and for the amount provided. No hidden costs or surprises. How many companies do that?! A sincere Thank You to Renato, Maria and the whole Pro Roofing Services Team! Jim and Helen Cardwell

Pro Roofing Services is the best of the best! Renato and his team are highly knowledgeable, organized, and very professional. They truly go the extra mile to ensure that any issues with materials or workmanship are addressed, resulting in a high-quality job. They show up on time, ready to work, and Renato is always available to answer questions and address any concerns. They also complete the work with minimal inconvenience to the homeowner and neighbours. Their pricing is fair, with no aggressive salesmanship. Everything is explained clearly and in detail, while the final decision always remains with the homeowner. Once the work is complete, they leave the area spotless—actually, better than they found it! I highly recommend Pro Roofing Services to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, and professional roofing company. If you want a high-quality, headache-free experience with fair pricing and excellent workmanship, look no further than Pro Roofing Services.

Company Background

About Pro Roofing Services LTD

From its yard on Cavell Avenue in Hamilton's lower city, Pro Roofing Services LTD sends crews east and west across the old city and up the mountain, with regular work in Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Binbrook and Mount Hope. The shop sits in the Crown Point West area, close to the older brick houses and flat-roofed storefronts that make up much of Hamilton's roofing work.

The company is led by founder Renato DaSilva, who says he has worked in roofing since he was 17. The site states that Pro Roofing Services does the work itself from start to finish and does not use subcontractors. It installs asphalt and fibreglass shingles, flat roof systems, skylights and metal flashing, and it also does attic ventilation, eavestrough and leaf guards. Both residential and commercial roofs are on the list. Free estimates are offered, and the site advertises 24/7 roof repairs.

Reviewers describe the same pattern. Several mention Renato on the roof with his crew, a thorough cleanup, and pricing that came in under other quotes even after rotted boards had to be replaced. One owner of a Cannon Street shop had a flat roof replaced and praised the staff. Another homeowner said Renato showed the old skylights and rotted lumber in person before any extra work was agreed. Reviews are strongly positive: 5.0 from 231 Google reviews, read October 13, 2026.

An honest caution: the company's own website is thin and partly out of date. It says the business was founded about three years ago without giving a year, lists hours that differ from Google's, and does not name any manufacturer certification or a published warranty. Reviewers do report that hidden wood damage can add to the scope of a job.

This company suits homeowners in the lower city and older Hamilton neighbourhoods who want a small, owner-led crew and a straight explanation of what is rotted and what is not. It suits less well anyone who needs a large firm with manufacturer-certified installer status. Before booking, ask for the WSIB clearance certificate, which can be verified on the WSIB site, and proof of liability insurance. Ask for the warranty in writing, and have the quote say how rotted decking will be priced per sheet.

Pro Roofing Services LTD FAQs

  • Is Pro Roofing Services LTD insured and covered by WSIB?

The company states on its website that it is fully insured, but it does not publish WSIB or insurance documents. Ontario does not license roofers provincially, so ask for the WSIB clearance certificate, which you can verify on the WSIB site, and for proof of liability insurance before work starts.

  • What are Pro Roofing Services LTD's hours and do they do emergency roof repairs?

Google lists the office as open 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm Saturday and closed Sunday. The company's website advertises 24/7 roof repairs, though its site shows longer hours than Google, so call 289-339-0078 to confirm for urgent leaks.

  • Which areas does Pro Roofing Services LTD serve and does it offer free estimates?

Yes, the company offers free estimates. It is based at 159 Cavell Ave in Hamilton's lower city and lists Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Binbrook and Mount Hope among its service areas. It accepts Interac, Visa and Mastercard, and the site does not publish warranty length, so ask for it in writing.

  • Is Pro Roofing Services LTD licensed and insured?

We checked 0 of 1 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.

  • What areas does Pro Roofing Services LTD serve?

Hamilton. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.

  • Does Pro Roofing Services LTD offer emergency service?

Yes, the company lists emergency availability. Response time depends on demand, and after a storm every company in the market is stretched.

  • What warranty do they offer?

The company advertises a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Warranty length is not published, so ask for terms in writing.. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.

  • How was this profile built?

Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.

  • Can a business pay to improve its profile?

A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
