Editorial Review
Our Take on Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton
A perfect 5.0 across 239 Google reviews is rare at this volume, and the reviews we read point to clean job sites and an owner who shows up. The multi-brand certifications are the strongest part of the pitch. The website is thinner than the reviews, with filler text on its About page and no WSIB number published.

Company Background
About Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton
Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton sits on Hendershot Road in Binbrook, the rural Glanbrook side of Hamilton where farm lots and newer subdivisions share the same open wind, and it holds a perfect 5.0 rating on Google. That score comes from 239 reviews, which is unusual. Most contractors with a clean five-star record have a few dozen ratings, not hundreds.
The company says it has worked in the Hamilton area since 2008. Owner Nick R describes more than 25 years in roofing, and the team page also lists Paul Lawson as project manager and Andrew Da Silva as sales manager, who cites over a decade in the trade. The site says the work is done by in-house crews and that the company runs its own bin service. That matters because disposal and cleanup are where subcontracted jobs tend to get messy.
Certifications on the site include CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster, IKO Craftsman Premier, VELUX Skylight Specialist and Alu-Rex Certified Installer, and GAF is named among its manufacturers. The company also advertises a BBB A+ rating. Services cover asphalt roof replacement and repair, metal roofing, flat roofing, skylights and sun tunnels, eavestrough, siding, soffit and fascia, attic insulation, and doors and windows. A 25 to 30 year workmanship warranty and a 50 year manufacturer warranty are advertised, with Financeit payment plans available.
Recent reviewers describe tidy job sites and steady communication. One praised Paul for solving an unusual roofing problem. Another said John and Nick handled a cosmetic request with no pushback, and a third noticed Nick stepping in when the crew needed an extra pair of hands. One homeowner had eavestroughs and porch shingles done and was just as pleased. The rating is 5.0 from 239 Google reviews, read October 13, 2026. All five reviews we read were five stars, so there is no complaint pattern to report. The fair criticism is about the website, which still shows template filler on its About page and publishes no WSIB number.
It suits homeowners in Binbrook, Ancaster, Dundas and Stoney Creek who want a full replacement, or a roof and eavestroughs, from one crew. It suits less well anyone shopping for the cheapest quick patch, since the company sells itself on certified installs. Before booking, ask Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton for its WSIB clearance certificate, which can be verified on the WSIB site, and for proof of liability insurance. Ontario does not license roofers provincially, so confirm the manufacturer certifications directly with CertainTeed, IKO and VELUX, and get the workmanship warranty terms in writing.

Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton FAQs
Is Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton insured and covered by WSIB?
The company advertises itself as fully licensed and insured, and owner Nick R tells homeowners to hire only roofers who are insured and WSIB covered. The website publishes no policy or WSIB account numbers, so ask for the WSIB clearance certificate, which can be verified on the WSIB site, and proof of liability insurance before signing. Ontario does not license roofers provincially.
What are the hours for Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton?
Google lists the office as open Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, closed Sunday. The website mentions emergency roof repair coordination for property owners but does not advertise 24 hour service. Call +1 905-928-7528 to ask about urgent leaks.

The website advertises a 25 to 30 year workmanship warranty and a 50 year manufacturer warranty. The company also lists Financeit payment plans and free roof inspections, and it serves Binbrook, Ancaster, Dundas and Stoney Creek. Ask for the exact warranty terms in writing, because the length can depend on the shingle system chosen.
Is Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton licensed and insured?

What areas does Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton serve?
Hamilton. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
