Editorial Review
Our Take on All-Lock-Rescue Ltd
All-Lock-Rescue Ltd earns its place with a genuine west-end shop, a long local record and customers who describe fair pricing and quick turnaround. The site is thin on prices, warranty and credentials, so confirm those by phone before work starts.

Company Background
About All-Lock-Rescue Ltd
All-Lock-Rescue Ltd is a locksmith shop on 170 Street NW in the Norwester Industrial area, which puts it on the west side of Edmonton rather than downtown or in the south. Its site says the company has served the city for about 30 years, though it does not give a founding year. The work covers homes, businesses, institutions and vehicles: rekeying, lock repair and replacement, deadbolts and door closers, master key systems, apartment door servicing, key cutting by code, and safe selection and sales. The site names Schlage AL series locks, Weiser deadbolts and handles, and FireKing safes.
The shop is the part reviewers talk about most. Carlos walked in, was helped by Heather, and had four keys cut and a door lock cylinder rebuilt in about 20 minutes for $72, with a warning up front that one key might not copy cleanly. Will Flexer went back to the company that installed locks in his new home 20 years earlier, and Curtis rebuilt a failing digital lock while he waited. Ashley had Lauren out within a few hours to rekey her locks, and Marty had a technician at his locked truck within 30 minutes. Emergency lockout service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the main line, 780-447-5625, while the shop itself keeps weekday hours.
The company holds 4.7 from 256 Google reviews, read 2026-10-28. The fair concerns are practical ones. The site publishes no prices, no warranty terms, no licence or insurance details and no named team, and the shop is closed on weekends, so off-hours work goes through the emergency line.
It suits west Edmonton homeowners, landlords and small businesses who want a real counter to walk up to for keys, cylinders and rekeying. It suits less well anyone who needs a published price list or weekend counter service. Before booking, ask for a firm quote or service-call fee, confirm the technician will show photo ID and arrive in a marked vehicle, ask whether the lockout will be non-destructive, and ask about warranty on parts and labour. Alberta does not issue one provincial locksmith licence to every operator, so ask for the City of Edmonton business licence, proof of insurance, a firm quote and photo ID.
