Recent Google Reviews
- Kim Scaravelli5.0Brilliant service. Fast, thorough, and professional. Also very kind to my dog and cat who were a bit underfoot at times. Note that I had annual service performed on the heat pumps in both my home and office building (total of 5 indoor and 2 outdoor units) plus vents in both bathrooms cleaned and dryer vent cleaned, so the price was very reasonable.September 2026Google
- Rick George5.0Technician was very efficient, on time and provided great service. I would definitely have them service my heat pump again.September 2026Google
- Lori Ann Farris5.0⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Breath Assure! We recently moved into a new to us home and had no idea when the ducts, heat pumps, air exchanger, or dryer vent had last been cleaned. From the first communication to the completed job, the team was wonderful to deal with. Matt and Colby were friendly, respectful, tidy, and took the time to explain everything. Our home feels fresh and clean, and I have much more peace of mind knowing the dryer vent is clean. Fantastic service, we couldn’t be happier!September 2026Google
- Matthew Scott5.0Great job cleaning out the HRV and vents, some were pretty bad. Highly recommend, very thorough cleaning and don’t leave a mess behind.September 2026Google
- Jean Wood5.0Josh and Spencer did a great job cleaning our air exchanger and ductwork. They arrived promptly on time, were courteous, efficient and thorough. This was our third visit over the years and have been extremely satisfied with each team.September 2026Google
- B De Guzman5.0Chris is soooo easy to talk to. He is very responsive. Following up with him was a breeze. Very accommodating. I asked him a question/concern and he did not hesitate to answer. He even checked in if the suggestion worked.September 2026Google

iAbout service coverage
Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About Breath Assured
Breath Assured operates as a family-owned company from an Eileen Stubbs Avenue location in Dartmouth, and its Google page currently averages a perfect 5.0 stars across 683 reviews, read September 22, 2026, with reviewers naming technicians Josh and Spencer specifically for responding to service calls within the hour.
The company built its name on indoor air quality work, specifically air duct cleaning and sealing and dryer vent cleaning, and has since expanded into ductless mini-split heat pump installation and service, evaporator coil cleaning, HRV and air exchanger cleaning, and furnace cleaning. That combination, a duct and air-quality specialist that also installs and services heat pumps, is a genuinely different angle than most HVAC-first shops on this list take.
A direct company email, service@breathassured.ca, sits on the site alongside the phone number. The company doesn't publish a founding year, individual owner names, a Better Business Bureau rating, specific brand partnerships, or detailed warranty and financing terms. Same-day service availability is implied by review mentions rather than stated as a formal policy, and the site doesn't claim 24/7 coverage.
Service reaches a wide stretch of the South Shore and HRM area: Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Lower Sackville, Cole Harbour, and Eastern Passage close in, plus Hubbards, Chester, and Lunenburg further down the coast, a broader radius than most similarly sized companies attempt.
Breath Assured suits a homeowner whose priority is indoor air quality, duct cleaning, or HRV maintenance alongside a heat pump install, especially given the strength and volume of its review base. It suits less well someone who wants a company with published licence numbers or a formal warranty policy to check before booking. Ask for the technician's Nova Scotia certification number and specific service response times before scheduling.
