Capital Bathroom Renovations delivered an entirely satisfactory result with our bathtub to shower conversion. They spent adequate time showing us materials and choices. Gave us a written quote of what we would get and how much it would cost. Said it would be done in approximately 4 days. It was done very efficiently by SERHIR who worked in a very professional manner, protected existing surfaces, and delivered an excellent finished product. This company did what they said they would do, and at the price they quoted. We were totally satisfied and would definitely recommend them to others.

We recently completed a bathroom renovation with Roman. Overall, the project got off to a good start. We selected our tile, vanity, and fixtures from Roman’s showroom. The selection was somewhat limited compared to other tile showrooms visited, but we were able to find options we liked, and Roman was helpful and patient throughout the process.

The project started on time, and the worker was punctual and worked hard. The project did finish a couple of days late, and the final inspection did not happen right away, but most of the items identified were addressed.

There were a few issues along the way. A ledge was installed in the shower, but I was not consulted about the height before it was installed, and I would have preferred to have had input on its placement. The installation of a recessed mirror also resulted in a hole in the room behind the bathroom. The hole was repaired, but the wall will need need to be repainted.

We also had an issue with the vanity countertop. The faux-stone material was damaged/eroded by a product commonly used by women and teenagers. Since this type of countertop was new to me, I had asked Roman several times about proper care and whether there were any products to avoid, but I was not given any special instructions. Based on this experience, I would question whether this material is well suited for a bathroom, where exposure to everyday personal-care products is to be expected.

The renovation was completed just over three months ago and the grout (floor) is already cracking in two places. I have not seen this with my other bathroom renovation (by another contractor). Also, there appears to be a slow leak under the sink. It's dry but I cleaned it up the first time and a few weeks later it was there (dry) again.

Overall: The end result is definitely an improvement over what we had before, and we are pleased with the overall transformation. That said, based on my experience, I would recommend shopping around and getting information from a variety of sources before making decisions about materials and finishes.

Roman and his team are professional and AMAZING! They provide quality work, responsive customer service, and inspire confidence every step of the way. We would go with no other company for future bathroom reno projects.

We had 2 bathrooms redone by Capital Bathroom Renovation in April and May of this year. The main bathroom was a complete update and removal of the shower bulkhead. The second bathroom, the master ensuite, was also a complete remodel that included a custom shower with bench.

We are so happy with both rooms. Roman and his team provide excellent service. From the beginning stages of selecting tiles, paint, lighting and other bathroom features to scheduling their installer, Andrii, to start the work, all aspects of the job were on time, on budget and done extremely well. Andrii was great to work with - he was punctual, very efficient and always kept his work areas tidy as he worked in our home. Roman and Andril were always available to address our design questions. We are extremely satisfied with the work that Capital Bathroom Renovation did for us and would highly recommend them.

My mum doesn’t have a Google account, but Roman just renovated her shower and she has nothing but good things to say.

Company Background

About Capital Bathroom Renovation

Capital Bathroom Renovation is a family-owned business that focuses on bathrooms. Its showroom is at 67 Iber Road in Stittsville, a commercial unit that the company describes as a 1,000 square foot space for comparing showers, vanities and tile in person. Visits are by appointment, which the site encourages you to book.

The company's website says it has more than 15 years of combined construction experience and handles demolition, preparation, installation and finishing while coordinating the plumbing and electrical work. The range runs from full bathroom rebuilds and tub-to-shower conversions to condo bathrooms, powder rooms, laundry rooms and accessible bathroom upgrades with options such as walk-in showers, grab bars and built-in seating. It also does bathroom additions.

The standout is the warranty. The About page states a 5-year warranty on its services, covering labour and installation, which is longer than the terms other companies on this list publish. The company offers free quotes and says an estimator replies within 24 business hours. On permits the site is straightforward: a bathroom renovation in Ontario does not always need a building permit, but one may be required if the plans move walls, plumbing or electrical. It also advises budgeting a 10 percent cushion for material price changes.

Google shows 5.0 from 109 reviews, read October 30, 2026, and the photos show tiled walk-in showers, glass tub enclosures and double-sink vanities. One client review on the Miracle Dream Homes website refers to Miracle Dream Homes and Capital Bathroom Renovation together, and Capital Bathroom's own site quotes a client who was passed on to a Miracle Dream Homes designer. We could not confirm whether the two share ownership, so they are listed separately here; compare quotes from both.

Capital Bathroom Renovation suits homeowners who want a bathroom done by a specialist with a long labour warranty and a showroom. It suits less well anyone planning a kitchen, basement or addition. Before you book, ask for a detailed written quote, WSIB and insurance certificates, who pulls any permit, and what the 5-year warranty covers and excludes.

Capital Bathroom Renovation FAQs

  • What warranty does Capital Bathroom Renovation give?

The company states a 5-year warranty on its services, covering labour and installation. Material warranties are set by the manufacturer. Ask for the warranty in writing and how a warranty visit is booked.

  • Do I need a permit for a bathroom renovation in Ottawa?

Not always. Cosmetic work and fixture swaps in the same place may not need a City of Ottawa building permit, but moving walls, plumbing or electrical can. Capital Bathroom Renovation says to check before starting, so ask who applies for any permit and put it in the contract.

  • Can I visit the Capital Bathroom Renovation showroom?

Yes, by appointment. The 1,000 square foot showroom at 67 Iber Road in Stittsville shows showers, vanities and tile. Google lists hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The company says an estimator replies to quote requests within 24 business hours.

  • Is Capital Bathroom Renovation licensed and insured?

We have no credential records on file for this company yet. Ask for the certificate directly from the insurer before booking work.

  • What areas does Capital Bathroom Renovation serve?

Ottawa, Nepean, Gloucester, Vanier. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.

  • Does Capital Bathroom Renovation offer emergency service?

Emergency availability is not listed for this company. If you need an urgent call-out, check the ranking for companies that do list it.

  • What warranty do they offer?

5-year warranty on services, covering labour and installation. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.

  • How was this profile built?

Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.

  • Can a business pay to improve its profile?

A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
