Company Background
About CDL Flooring
CDL Flooring is a family-owned and operated flooring store at 7265 11 Street SE in Calgary. Its story page says the company has helped homeowners, builders, designers and contractors since 1993 and that its team stays involved from product selection through installation. Besides the Calgary showroom there is a second one in Invermere, B.C.
The store sells carpet, hardwood, vinyl and tile for residential and commercial work. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 to 8 on Thursday and 9 to 5 on Saturday, closed Sunday. No email address is published on the site.
Reviews point to service more than price. Sergey and Mark are named for taking time with product choices, including a full-house renovation. Brody sent updates to a customer who was out of town during installation, and Taylor and Allan are credited with careful carpet work. One customer says CDL supplied and installed a wool carpet and, after the manufacturer first sent defective product, resolved it professionally. 4.6 from 348 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026. That is the lowest rating among the companies here, so read recent reviews for installation timing.
It suits renovators who want a showroom and an install team coordinating a whole-house floor plan, and buyers in the southeast who want evening hours on Thursday. It suits less well anyone looking for a hardwood refinishing specialist. Before booking, ask for a written quote that separates material, labour and removal, ask how manufacturer defects are handled, and confirm the City of Calgary business licence. Alberta does not license flooring installers as a trade.
