Our Take on Desert Diamond Air Cooling & Heating
Desert Diamond stands out on this list for the loyalty in its reviews, homeowners who call the same technician back years later rather than shopping around. That kind of repeat business is hard to fake and says more about a company's day-to-day reliability than any single five-star review does.

About Desert Diamond Air Cooling & Heating
Desert Diamond Air Cooling & Heating runs out of a shop on North 25th Avenue in Phoenix's Deer Valley area, and the reviews suggest a company that keeps its regulars coming back. One longtime customer wrote that Desert Diamond has earned their HVAC and plumbing business for good after using the company for years, most recently for a water softener and reverse osmosis system installed by technician Ian S. Another reviewer praised technician Daniel Calderon for a same-day appointment on a 114 degree day when the AC quit.
The company holds two Arizona Registrar of Contractors licenses: ROC 276814 for air conditioning and refrigeration, and ROC 353318 for plumbing. Technicians are NATE certified, and the company also lists Building Performance Institute training among its credentials. Desert Diamond is a BBB A+ rated business and answers service calls 24 hours a day for emergency repairs.
New installations come with a free in-home estimate, and the company offers several financing options for homeowners replacing a full system rather than repairing one. Trane and Daikin are the two manufacturer brands it installs most, and reviewers describe a mini-split installation in a garage as clean and free of surprises, with the technician recommending the company's Diamond Service Plan afterward.
Desert Diamond's service area covers a wide stretch of the northwest Valley, including Anthem, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City and Paradise Valley in addition to Phoenix itself, which is worth knowing if a homeowner is comparing this company against a more centrally located competitor for response time.
One gap worth flagging: the company's own site does not publish a specific labor warranty length for installed systems, so that detail is worth pinning down with the sales consultant before signing a contract. Homeowners should also confirm the specific ROC license number quoted matches state records, since Desert Diamond, like most Arizona contractors, operates under more than one license depending on the trade.
