- R Houle5.0I'm a first time home owner and when I phoned him with questions about my AC unit he was super helpful. He gave me sound advice. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help!August 2026Google
- Jarry DubbelYu2.0Tried to fleece me in a difficult bind. Told me to replace a unit for $5K, when it can be repaired for $700. Big smartass, too.August 2026Google
- Dawn Kennedy5.0This is the second time I have needed a quick A/C repair, and once again he came through. Like in a flash. I called him Monday evening and he was at my place shortly after lunch the next day. He didn't overcharge, and had the repair completed in less than 30 minutes. He was great to talk to, and I would very honestly recommend him. No run around, no upselling, and really honest about what was possible with my 20 year old a/c. I appreciated the no BS approach. Call him if you need help. I'm sure your experience would be just as positive as mine was.July 2026Google
- Nasim Atz5.0Excellent service! He came the same day, quickly found the problem, and fixed my AC professionally. He was honest, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable HVAC service!July 2026Google
- Dmytro Bahach5.0Highly recommend! I called on Saturday, and even though it was the weekend, he came out on Sunday and fixed our AC. Several other companies told us the unit couldn’t really be repaired and were pushing for a replacement, but he found the refrigerant leak, fixed the problem, and even provided a one-year warranty. Very professional, honest, and responsive. The work was done quickly, the price was more than fair, and the AC is working great again. It’s hard to find someone who will come out on a Sunday and stand behind their work. Thank you for the excellent service!May 2026Google
- Hex A. Peel5.0Mike was amazing to work with! I felt bad for interrupting his weekend when my hot water tank died. But he was quick and prompt and got us back up and running in just a few hours. Feeling very grateful and blessed!!April 2026Google

About MWK Heating & Cooling LTD
MWK Heating & Cooling LTD is one of the smaller operations in this ranking, based on the southwest side of Saskatoon. It holds a perfect 5.0 across 230 Google reviews as of September 23, 2026, and its Google profile lists furnace repair, air conditioning, gas installation and gas fitting among its services.
The reviews centre on one person. Customers name the owner as Michael or Mike, and several describe him answering the phone himself and coming out on a weekend. One reviewer called on a Saturday and had their AC fixed on Sunday after other companies said the unit could not be repaired. Another said Mike came quickly when their hot water tank died on a weekend. A long-time customer said he has replaced their water heater and air conditioner and serviced their furnace over six years.
The company advertises 24-hour furnace repair and says it offers strong warranties on both installations and service calls, though the website does not spell out the terms. Office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday to Thursday and 8 AM to 3 PM on Friday. The listed contact email is a free webmail address rather than a company domain, and the site does not publish a founding year, equipment brands or a gas licence number.
MWK suits homeowners who like dealing with the owner directly and want a repair-first opinion before replacing equipment. It suits less well larger projects that need a full crew on a tight schedule, since a one-owner shop has limited capacity during a cold snap. Before booking, ask for the gas licence number and confirm it with the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan, and get the warranty terms in writing.
