Editorial Review
Our Take on Priority Builders Renovations
Priority Builders is a dependable pick for larger kitchen and whole-home projects, with design, permits and a two-year warranty in one package. A 4.6 rating is respectable but the lowest of the top four, and small jobs are not its sweet spot.

Company Background
About Priority Builders Renovations
Priority Builders Renovations works from 10623 170 Street NW in west Edmonton and serves the city plus St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Beaumont, Stony Plain and Fort Saskatchewan. Owner and general manager Sean Walford leads a team that includes design and operations manager Stacey Ohlmann, design assistants, an office administrator and renovation carpenters. The company describes itself as medium sized, large enough to run several projects at once and small enough to stay personal. It says it normally has eight to ten jobs in progress.
The service pages cover full-home renovations, kitchens, basements and bathrooms. In-house designers handle the plans before the construction team starts. The FAQ says the company pulls the permits and books the inspections, and the home page lists a two-year warranty on workmanship, liability insurance, WCB coverage, bonding, an A+ Better Business Bureau rating and past-customer references on request. Financing is offered through FinanceIt, which gives a soft approval that does not touch a credit score.
The company is candid about the jobs it prefers. Its FAQ says smaller one-off projects are often not the most cost-effective choice with its structure, and that it may refer a small job to another contractor unless it is already on site for a bigger one. That is useful to know before calling about a single vanity swap.
The rating is the lowest among the first four companies on this list at 4.6, although 58 reviews is a solid sample. The website footer shows a 2024 copyright date, so ask for current references and recent project photos.
Priority Builders has 4.6 from 58 Google reviews, read October 30, 2026. It suits homeowners planning a full-home, kitchen, basement or bathroom renovation who want design and construction under one roof. It suits less well people with a small repair. Before booking, ask for the itemized contract, proof of insurance, WCB clearance and the bond, the written warranty, and who applies for each permit.

Priority Builders Renovations FAQs
Is Priority Builders Renovations licensed, insured and bonded?
The company says it is a fully licensed contractor with liability insurance, WCB coverage and bonding, and it reports an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The website does not list licence or policy numbers, so ask for the certificates and a copy of the bond. Check the City of Edmonton business licence as well.
Does Priority Builders pull the permits for my renovation?
Yes. The FAQ says the company takes care of the permits and inspections for each project. Confirm that in your written contract, and ask which permits apply to your job, since electrical, plumbing and gas work in Edmonton need their own trade permits.
Does Priority Builders offer financing or a warranty?
Priority Builders includes a two-year warranty on its workmanship and offers financing through FinanceIt, whose soft approval shows what you may qualify for without affecting your credit rating. It serves Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Beaumont, Stony Plain and Fort Saskatchewan.
Is Priority Builders Renovations licensed and insured?
We checked 0 of 2 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.
What areas does Priority Builders Renovations serve?
Edmonton. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
Does Priority Builders Renovations offer emergency service?
Emergency availability is not listed for this company. If you need an urgent call-out, check the ranking for companies that do list it.
What warranty do they offer?
Two-year warranty on quality workmanship. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.
How was this profile built?
Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.
Can a business pay to improve its profile?
A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
