Recent Google Reviews
- Zachary Kyra-Derksen5.0I had an excellent experience with Ready Refrigeration, both in getting their quote and the install of my Hisense multi unit heat pumps. The quote price was considerably lower than another installer I contacted for the same unit. The installation went smoothly, and the work was very neat. The installers also accommodated a few special requests I had, which was much appreciated! I highly recommend Ready Refrigeration if you are looking for new heat pumps.September 2026Google

About Ready Refrigeration
Ready Refrigeration works from a Murdock MacKay Court address in Lower Sackville, part of the Halifax Regional Municipality, as a spinoff of sister company Party Ice, and the two businesses together draw on what the company describes as more than 100 years of combined team experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and gas services. The Google page currently averages 4.5 stars across 192 reviews, read September 22, 2026, with named staff including office team members Peter and Amanda and installation technicians Adam and Ryan, all Red Seal certified.
The company holds a full set of Daikin manufacturer credentials, Daikin Comfort Pro, Daikin Design Pro, and Daikin Elite Development status, and installs Daikin heat pump lines specifically alongside broader HVAC and refrigeration work for both homes and businesses. The service list also covers natural gas and propane work, thermostats, electrical services, water heaters, HRV and indoor air quality equipment, and, notably, solar and insulation, a wider range than most HVAC-focused shops on this list.
Financing runs through a credit union partnership and Nova Scotia's Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program, and the company advertises free quotes and no-obligation home assessments. Ready Refrigeration is also an EGIA member, an industry association focused on contractor training and financing programs. The site doesn't state 24/7 emergency availability or detail specific warranty terms, and no direct company email is published.
Service reaches well beyond Lower Sackville itself, covering the North Shore, South Shore, and broader HRM, plus Cape Breton and the Annapolis Valley, one of the widest service footprints among Halifax-area HVAC companies.
Ready Refrigeration suits a homeowner specifically interested in Daikin equipment or the rebate program who wants named, Red Seal certified technicians on the job. It suits less well someone who wants a published direct email or explicit 24/7 emergency coverage. Ask for the technician's Nova Scotia certification number and current program eligibility before booking.
