iAbout service coverage
Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. A company will often travel beyond the areas listed here for a large job and decline a small one at the same distance, so confirm your address before scheduling.
About Allard & Emond Inc.
Allard & Emond has operated in the Montreal and Laval area since 1977, giving it nearly five decades of history and putting it among the longest-established companies in this ranking. The Saint-Laurent shop, RBQ licensed under 5588-4639-01, handles heating and air conditioning installation, heat pump systems, and geothermal installs, a more specialized offering than most competitors, plus general maintenance, repairs and accessories like thermostats, air filters and humidifiers.
What sets Allard & Emond apart operationally is a genuine 24/7 emergency service, something few companies in this ranking actually offer rather than just advertise. Reviews describe thorough, professional work: one customer had a small AC unit upgraded to a quiet heat pump with two wall units installed over nearly six hours, calling both technicians impressive, while another had a Moovair heat pump and furnace system installed after their old unit failed at 13 years old, describing the service as quick and professional throughout.
Service coverage is unusually broad geographically, listing Ahuntsic, Beaconsfield, Côte-Saint-Luc, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Dorval, Hampstead, Kirkland, Lachine, LaSalle, Mont-Royal, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Outremont, Pointe-Claire, Rosemont, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Saint-Henri, Saint-Laurent, Senneville and Westmount, spanning both the city and most of the West Island's independent municipalities.
At 4.9 stars from 561 Google reviews, read September 23, 2026, Allard & Emond suits homeowners who want a company with real emergency coverage and nearly 50 years of history, and suits less well anyone outside its listed service area who needs to confirm coverage first. Before booking, confirm your specific address is covered and ask about geothermal system costs separately from standard heat pump pricing, since they differ significantly.
