Editorial Review

Our Take on D Masters Roofing

D Masters Roofing earns its 4.9 mostly on process: photo records of each stage, tidy crews and plain communication. The missing founding year and licence figure on its site are small gaps, and the weekday-only office hours and paid emergency attendance are worth knowing up front.

Really great initial experience with the assessor person. However not great communication as e got closer to the completion date. We only got 1 day notice before they were doing the work.

I had D Masters Roofing do a roof inspection for me. They did a great job right from the start. Excellent communication through texting and calling with booking it and any questions I had. Their pricing was the best compared to three other roofing companies I contacted. Once they finished the inspection they told me no issues and sent me multiple pictures of my roof showing it’s in good condition still. When the time comes for a new roof I will definitely reach out to them again.

Company Background

About D Masters Roofing

D Masters Roofing works out of the Calgary Trail North area of south Edmonton, at 6033 103A Street NW, and it sends crews across the city for roof replacement, roof repair and emergency work. The company's own site lists roof replacement, new roof construction, repair and 24/7 emergency repair, with a 10-year workmanship warranty on every project and liability insurance of up to $2,000,000. It also says a WCB account number appears on each estimate and a WCB clearance letter is available on request. Badges for Owens Corning and IKO appear on its About page, and the site names Owens Corning, IKO and Duraflo among the brands it installs. The site does not give a founding year or a licence number, so neither is claimed here.

The Google record is strong. D Masters Roofing holds 4.9 from 265 Google reviews, read October 12, 2026, and sits second in the Google Maps results for roofing in Edmonton. Reviewers keep returning to the paperwork. One homeowner on a roof replacement said the crew documented and uploaded photos of every step, and another credited Wesley for the estimate and Christian for leading a crew that protected garden walls and shrubs. A repair customer describes a drone inspection of the roof and a dry attic after several storms. The same reviewer notes that attendance within about 24 hours for emergencies carries an extra charge, which is worth knowing before a leak turns urgent.

Cold-climate roofing matters here. The company's FAQ explains that poor ventilation shortens shingle life and contributes to ice dams, a familiar Edmonton winter problem, and it recommends inspections each spring and fall. Hail and snow load are not addressed on the site, so ask how they handle both.

D Masters Roofing suits homeowners who want a documented replacement or a targeted leak repair and value clear communication. It suits less well anyone who needs weekend booking, since Google lists the office as open 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM Monday to Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday, or who wants a verified licence figure on paper. Before booking, ask for the warranty in writing, request the Alberta WCB clearance letter and proof of liability insurance, and check the City of Edmonton business licence. Alberta has no provincial roofing trade licence, so those checks carry the weight.

D Masters Roofing FAQs

  • Is D Masters Roofing licensed and insured in Edmonton?

D Masters Roofing states it carries liability insurance of up to $2,000,000 and puts a WCB account number on each estimate. • Does D Masters Roofing do emergency roof repairs and what are its hours?

Yes, the company advertises 24/7 emergency repair for leaks, storm damage and fallen branches. Its office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM, per Google. A reviewer says emergency attendance within about 24 hours carries an extra charge, so confirm the fee when you call.

  • What warranty and financing does D Masters Roofing offer?

We checked 0 of 2 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.

Edmonton. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.

  • Does D Masters Roofing offer emergency service?

  • How was this profile built?

Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.

  • Can a business pay to improve its profile?

A business can subscribe to manage its own listing details, and it can buy a labelled sponsored placement. Neither changes a ranking position or the editorial assessment on this page.
