Our Take on DuraClim
DuraClim's scale is unmatched in Montreal HVAC, nearly 3,800 reviews, and its NADCA/IQAQ-certified cleaning side is a genuine point of difference from companies that only install. The RBQ structure is worth clarifying before a big job.

About DuraClim
DuraClim has grown into the most-reviewed HVAC company in Montreal, with a review count that outpaces every other company on this list by a factor of three or more. Its Boulevard Saint-Laurent location handles the full range of heating and cooling installation, wall-mounted and central heat pumps, air conditioning and electric furnaces, but DuraClim's real differentiator is the cleaning and insulation side of the business, which most HVAC companies don't offer at all: ventilation duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, heat pump and wall-mounted unit cleaning, and cellulose, spray foam or blown fiberglass insulation work.
That cleaning specialty comes with its own credentials, NADCA and IQAQ certification for the technicians who handle it, which sit alongside general HVAC installation expertise. Reviews reflect both sides of the business: one customer had a mini-split cleaned in a 45-minute service call and called the pricing reasonable, while another described a dryer vent and duct cleaning combination, though with some frustration over communication about a second-floor dryer location.
DuraClim carries Gree, Goodman, Windair, Comfortmaker, Toshiba-Zephyr and Daikin equipment, and states that it works with licensed RBQ entrepreneurs on its installation jobs rather than publishing one company-wide RBQ number, which is worth clarifying directly for a specific project. Service area is broad, covering Montreal, Laval, Brossard, Terrebonne, Longueuil, Mirabel and even Quebec City.
At 4.8 stars from 3,777 Google reviews, read September 23, 2026, DuraClim suits homeowners who want to bundle an HVAC job with duct or dryer vent cleaning under one company, and suits less well anyone who wants a single named RBQ license number confirmed up front. Before booking, ask which RBQ-licensed entrepreneur will be assigned to your installation and get that confirmed in writing.

Verified means we checked the credential against the authority that issues it and recorded the date. Reported means the business told us and we could not independently confirm it. We publish both, labelled, rather than dropping what we could not check.

DuraClim FAQs
Does DuraClim only install HVAC systems, or does it also clean?
Both. Alongside heat pump and AC installation, DuraClim offers NADCA and IQAQ certified duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and insulation work, a combination most HVAC companies don't provide.
Is DuraClim RBQ licensed?
DuraClim states it works with licensed RBQ entrepreneurs on its installation jobs rather than publishing one company-wide license number. Ask which RBQ-licensed entrepreneur will handle your specific job.
What areas does DuraClim serve?
Coverage extends across Montreal, Laval, Brossard, Terrebonne, Longueuil, Mirabel and even Quebec City, a broader area than most companies in this ranking.
Is DuraClim licensed and insured?
We checked 0 of 1 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.
What areas does DuraClim serve?
Montreal, Lasalle, Saint-Laurent, Outremont. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.
Does DuraClim offer emergency service?
Emergency availability is not listed for this company. If you need an urgent call-out, check the ranking for companies that do list it.
What warranty do they offer?
Garantie offerte sur tous les produits. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.
How was this profile built?
Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.
Can a business pay to improve its profile?
