Editorial Review
Our Take on Fire & Ice Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical
Covering HVAC, plumbing and electrical under one roof is the practical draw here, and a Carrier Factory Authorized dealer badge with 4,294 reviews behind it is hard to dismiss. The company's willingness to send a specific requested technician back for a repeat job, per at least one review, is a small but real signal about how it treats regular customers.

About Fire & Ice Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical
Fire & Ice Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical has served the Columbus area for close to 20 years, working out of a Freeway Drive North location and holding Ohio license #36883. It carries a 4.8 rating from 4,294 Google reviews, read September 22, 2026, one of the largest review totals of any HVAC company in this ranking, and it's BBB accredited on top of being a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer.
What separates Fire & Ice from a single-trade HVAC shop is its range: heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical work all under one company. That matters on jobs that cross trades without warning, a furnace replacement that turns up a gas line issue, a new AC condenser that needs an electrical panel upgrade to support it, since a homeowner doesn't need to find and coordinate a second contractor mid-project.
Reviewers name specific technicians directly and repeatedly: Mike Moore on an HVAC sales consultation described as prompt and knowledgeable, and Adam on an electrical panel repair the reviewer specifically requested him back for. That kind of repeat naming across thousands of reviews suggests a company large enough to specialize by task while still keeping a recognizable crew.
The company installs Carrier equipment as its primary line, including the 59MN7 furnace, 24VNA0 air conditioner, and 25VNA0 heat pump, and offers same-day and next-day service along with after-hours and weekend diagnostic availability for complete system failures. Its "Happy Home Club" membership covers annual maintenance, and financing is available for larger installations. The company's stated coverage runs across two dozen Columbus-area communities, including Bexley, Dublin, Gahanna, Grove City, Hilliard, New Albany, Upper Arlington, Westerville and Worthington.
Fire & Ice doesn't publish an exact founding year or a specific warranty summary on the pages reviewed, and its named technicians appear in reviews rather than on a dedicated team page, so ask for specifics directly.
For a Columbus homeowner who wants one company that can handle HVAC, plumbing and electrical work together, and who values a Carrier Factory Authorized dealer with a track record at real scale, Fire & Ice is a strong option, particularly for same-day and after-hours calls.
