After choosing Certainteed because of the quality of their shingles, I contacted Integrity Roofers because they are Certainteed SELECT Shinglemaster certified (includes “ethical business practices”) and have excellent reviews (with an A+ BBB rating). The quote I received for installing the shingles was comparable with that from another excellently qualified roofer, but I chose Integrity largely because of the advice and pricing on other essential components: underlay, plywood support, and vents. (I ask LOTS of questions and got an answer for every one.) Consultant Cory Jones suggested a few possible upgrades but with no pressure to do them and I ended up deciding for two out of three. Installation was brilliant. Their large and efficient crew completed the work in one day (versus the other five-day estimate I had received); cleanup was fantastic; and despite two disposal bins being brought into my driveway, the asphalt was not damaged one bit. Most important, I am delighted with the result. The roofline is crisp and clean, and the Shenandoah Landmark Pro shingles make the perfect finishing touch- the icing on the cake of my house. Time will of course be the real test, but I am reassured by the warranty and happy to have a dependable roof over my head.

I had a skylight issue and when integrity roofer came to do an estimate, they were nice enough to cover the skylight for me. This saved me from more damage until the roof got fixed.

We recently had our roof and flat roofs done by Integrity Roofers Ltd. We have nothing but praise for this company and their team from start to finish. We met with Cory Jones, professional, respectful, and most importantly available as I will say for the entire team. Qais the project head, problem solver, general any “ hiccup “ guy for a 100+ year old roof was amazing, keeping us up to date. The crew worked non-stop, hard working, respectful of us and our property. They went to the neighbours to make sure no debris was left in their yard. We have had such positive feedback on our roof and roofers from many people on our street/Lytton Park neighbourhood. Highly commend and recommend this team, company. The workmanship is outstanding.

Integrity Roofers redid the flat roof on our semi, and I'd hire them again without hesitation. Cory was great to deal with from start to finish: responsive, clear about pricing and timing, and easy to communicate with. Rey and his team are expert roofers who clearly knows flat roofs inside and out, and the quality of his work shows. What really stood out was what happened after the job. About a month later we had a problem with the roof, and they came out to inspect and fixed it even though it had nothing to do with the work they'd done. I highly recommend Cory, Rey, and the Integrity Roofers team.

We would recommend Integrity Roofers for anyone needing a roof replacement. Special thanks to Qais who helped us before, during and after the roof replacement process. We will be using their services in the future.

This company did more work on my roof yesterday, so I just wanted to update my review: Integrity did some revision skylight work and partial roof replacement on the roof of my North York area custom luxury home. I was very impressed by Qais, who schedules and manages the projects. Part of the job was under warranty and it was absolutely no hassle to get that honoured. For the other part of the job, I had an unpredictable leak due to wind driven rain and Qais was very patient and customer focused. He did not give up until the problem was diagnosed, which he went out of his way to do so personally. I believe the work crew was led by Eider and they are very personable. I spent some time on the roof with them after carefully braving the 40 foot ladder, and Eider explained what the team was doing and answered all my nosey homeowner questions. Qais, Eider, and the entire team seem to take pride in their work and doing a thorough job. Their drywall guy Linton also did a great job of fixing the top part of my skylight drywall (Eg the area directly under the skylight that is only accessible when the skylight is removed). Will update with pics later on. They are a great team and great company that I have been dealing with for many years; I would absolutely recommend them for roofing work. Old/original review from a few years ago: I have had many positive experiences with this company. The most recent one was yesterday when Shay came on a Sunday to help address a leak in my skylight. While he was up on my roof, he also fixed some defects he noticed in my chimney caulking/seal without charge. Some other roofing companies seem to lose interest the moment you tell them you have a 'small job' and are not getting your entire roof done, but Shay and his team have always taken the time to listen to my concerns, provide timely and quality service, and provide a reasonable quote. To reiterate, the fact that Shay was willing to come on a Sunday to help address my issue AND went out of his way to fix unrelated defects that he noticed gives me a strong impression that they care for their customers and are dedicated to doing quality work. I ended up going with them to do the full skylight repair -- my current one is 12-13 years old and is beyond saving. I'll post another review or update this one when the full repair is done.

Company Background

About Integrity Roofers

Integrity Roofers works out of 237 Sheppard Avenue West in North York and has been a Toronto roofing company since owner Shay Barat started it in 2012. Roofing is the whole business, from shingle replacements and repairs to flat roofs, skylights, slate and attic work for houses and commercial buildings across Toronto and the wider GTA.

The credential that matters most here is manufacturer certification. The company says it has been a CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster contractor since 2018, which lets it offer CertainTeed SureStart PLUS warranty extensions. Shay is a Master Shingle Applicator and Quality Master, and the site says all work is done in house by three certified applicators, two labourers and a lead foreman, with no subcontracting. Ontario does not license roofers, so these are the company's own statements and worth confirming.

Integrity Roofers has 4.8 from 156 Google reviews, read October 16, 2026. Reviewers describe detailed written quotes and steady communication. One homeowner said the quote spelled out the work against the manufacturer's warranty and that the crew sent photos during installation. Cory, the sales representative, is praised by name in several reviews, and Qais is credited with leading a crew that repaired trusses and replaced plywood before the new roof went on. Shay is named by a customer who says he gave honest advice about a small leak without pushing a replacement.

Skylight work stands out, with reviewers mentioning Velux and custom skylight replacements alongside full roof replacements and heat cables. Service pages also list ice dam removal, snow removal, eavestrough, soffit and fascia, siding and infrared thermal imaging for diagnostics. Neighbourhoods named on the site include Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, Rosedale, The Kingsway, East York, North York and Scarborough.

Integrity Roofers suits homeowners who want a manufacturer-backed shingle or skylight job with a documented warranty, and building owners with flat roofs. It suits less well anyone who wants the lowest price, since one reviewer placed its quote in the middle of those received, or anyone who needs weekend service, because the office is open Monday to Friday. Before booking, ask for proof of WSIB clearance and liability insurance, confirm the CertainTeed status in the manufacturer's contractor directory, and get the warranty terms in writing.

Integrity Roofers FAQs

  • Is Integrity Roofers licensed and insured in Toronto?

Ontario has no provincial roofing licence, so there is no licence number to look up for Integrity Roofers. The company says it is a CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster contractor and describes its crew as licensed, insured and certified, but its website does not show policy or licence numbers. Ontarians can check a contractor's WSIB clearance online and should ask for a certificate of insurance before work starts. You can also look the company up in CertainTeed's contractor directory to confirm the manufacturer credential.

  • What are Integrity Roofers' hours, and do they do emergency roof repairs?

The office at 237 Sheppard Avenue West is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Google and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on the company's own site, and it is closed on weekends. The website lists a separate immediate assistance phone line, but it does not describe a 24 hour or weekend emergency service. If you have an active leak, call and ask directly how quickly a crew can attend, and confirm which phone number reaches the office.

  • What warranty does Integrity Roofers offer and where does it work?

Integrity Roofers says every project carries a workmanship guarantee, and as a CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster it can offer SureStart PLUS 3-STAR and 4-STAR warranty extensions on qualifying shingle installations. CertainTeed describes SureStart PLUS as covering materials, labour, tear-off and disposal when its installation rules are followed. The company serves Toronto, North York, Scarborough, East York, Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, Rosedale and The Kingsway, plus Vaughan, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham and King City. Ask for the warranty terms in writing before you sign.

  • Is Integrity Roofers licensed and insured?

We checked 0 of 4 credentials against the issuing authority. Verified items carry the date we checked; reported items are what the business told us and we could not independently confirm.

  • What areas does Integrity Roofers serve?

Toronto. Coverage is as the business describes it, cross-checked against where its recent documented work is. Confirm your address before scheduling, particularly at the edge of a service area.

  • Does Integrity Roofers offer emergency service?

Emergency availability is not listed for this company. If you need an urgent call-out, check the ranking for companies that do list it.

  • What warranty do they offer?

Workmanship guarantee on every project. As a CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster contractor it can offer SureStart PLUS 3-STAR and 4-STAR warranty extensions, which cover materials, labour, tear-off and disposal when CertainTeed installation rules are followed.. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.

  • How was this profile built?
