About JM AIR Climatisation - Chauffage Montréal
JM AIR Climatisation has operated out of Anjou since 1974, and that half-century of history is backed by concrete credentials rather than just a claim: RBQ license 1624-0954-64, plus memberships in CMMTQ, CMEQ and CETAF, the trade associations that license and insure Quebec's heating and cooling contractors. The company works across wall-mounted and central heat pumps, air conditioning, heating systems, heat accumulators, air exchangers, humidifiers and smart thermostats, a service list broader than most companies on this list.
Reviews consistently name the technicians who did the work. Hamdi and Idre installed a furnace and heat pump for one reviewer who called the pair professional and efficient, and Hugo gets credit from a separate reviewer for a heat pump installation and for taking the time to explain how the new system worked before leaving. That pattern, named installers rather than generic praise for "the company," runs through a review base of over a thousand.
Financing is a clear differentiator: JM AIR offers 36-month interest-free plans on all units, and actively promotes Hydro-Québec's rebate program, which can be worth up to $22,000 for heat accumulator conversions specifically. Brands carried include Mitsubishi Electric, Moovair, Gree, Carrier/Tempstar, Thermolec and Ecobee, covering most major equipment categories a Montreal homeowner would need.
At 4.6 stars from 1,008 Google reviews, read September 23, 2026, JM AIR's rating sits slightly below several other companies on this list, though its review volume and half-century history are hard to match. It suits homeowners who want an established, well-credentialed company with strong financing, and suits less well anyone chasing a perfect five-star average. Before booking, confirm the RBQ license number matches the one on file and ask which Hydro-Québec rebates currently apply to your project.
