- cathy geletka5.0We had 3 toilets installed and we are very happy with the results. We had a concern with one of the toilets two weeks later and we notified Precision Plumbing. They came to check the problem within an hour of calling. Great service and emplyees.August 2026Google
- Dylan Zintel1.0Should be zero stars with that customer service. Update: The owner’s response misses the main issue. Their office promised an update regarding the next day’s appointment, which I needed to arrange key access, but no update was provided. When I called for clarification, the customer service was rude and unhelpful. Overall, very poor communication and customer service.August 2026Google

About Precision Plumbing
Precision Plumbing is a smaller operation than most of the companies in this ranking, and that is part of its appeal. Jerrod Clarke founded it in 2009. He is a second-generation Master Plumber and Class A Gas Fitter with more than 25 years in the trade, and the company works from a commercial unit on 57 Avenue NE. Google shows 130 reviews at a 4.8 average, read September 24, 2026.
The website names its whole team, which is unusual. Scott handles renovations, Josh heating, Zac service calls and Larry commercial work, and all four are listed as Red Seal plumbers. Brandon focuses on drains, Len on sewer lines, and Mike runs custom solutions. The company holds an A+ rating with the BBB, carries a COR safety certificate, lists a Cross Connection Control Specialist for backflow testing and is a certified Rinnai dealer. Its commercial projects have included the Calgary Zoo, Spruce Meadows and Costco, which says something about its comfort with larger systems.
Residential services cover emergency plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer line repair, water heaters and tankless units, gas lines, fixture installs and Poly-B replacement. Phones are answered 24/7. Financing is available through Abode, and the company offers a one-year parts and labour warranty. Beyond Calgary it lists Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Okotoks and several acreage communities.
Reviews point to people going out of their way. One customer with mobility issues said Mike squeezed in a hot water tank job quickly and came in as the cheapest option that customer found, with Josh doing a tidy install. Another praised Jerrod for walking them through a Rinnai tankless install. Zac handled an overnight tank leak for one household, and Len cleared a blocked sink the same day for another. The review count is small next to the larger firms, so there is less history to judge from.
Precision suits a homeowner who likes the idea of a master plumber owned shop with named, certified staff, and anyone who needs backflow testing. Ask for a written quote, confirm who will do the work and who pulls the City of Calgary permit.
