Our Take on Reborn Renovations

Reborn pairs a long awards list with a process-heavy pitch: 3D design, in-house cabinets, permit management and a progress portal. It is built for larger projects, and its insurance and warranty claims are the company's own until you see the paperwork.

I'm extremely happy with the whole home renovation of my home in Signal Hill, Calgary by Reborn Renovations! The modern kitchen, beautiful bathroom and custom walk in closet turned out absolutely stunning. Danielle did a fantastic job with the design, and Frank managed the project professionally. I love the attention to detail, the quality of the finished, and how beautifully everything came together. My home looks amazing and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend Reborn Renovations to anyone looking for home renovation services in Calgary!

We’ve completed two renovation projects with Reborn and have been very happy with the outcome of both. The first was a bungalow renovation, and the second was a much larger project — a full two-storey home with additions, roof elevation changes, and a complete exterior transformation. They were quick to get things underway and worked closely with us on the vision and updates until we felt confident in both the layout and exterior design. They also made a strong effort to stay aligned with our timelines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

The workmanship was excellent, with clear attention to craftsmanship and finishing details. They work with skilled trades, and the project manager on our projects was organized, detail-focused, and genuinely invested in making sure everything came together properly.

Overall, we’re very pleased with how both renovations turned out.

We purchased a home that Reborn Renovations did a major renovation on in 2022. The quality of the renovation played a major decision on our desire to purchase the home. Since we've taken possession we had the cabinet company, Enchanting Dimensions, do some additional work for us. They did a great job helping us with the changes. The quality of their work is outstanding.

We underwent a major renovation of a home we purchased in West Hillhurst and were incredibly happy with the outcome. The quality of the finishings in the home, professional trades people and charismatic interior designers were all incredible. The timing went longer than we anticipated, however given the attention to detail and quality of the finished product that was to be expected. Overall we are happy with Reborn, however, it was our project manager Vaughn as well as the interior design team who really stood out and made the experience a journey worth taking. Vaughn was always available, responsive and very down to earth, which made him very approachable about any concern we had. He was the middle man between us and the trades coming and going which made asking for things or pointing out concerns easy - given his diplomatic poise. The interior design ladies were fashionable, spunky and impressively knowledgeable in their craft. They knew what went well together and made picking tile, hardware finishings and wall colours a fun and engaging conversation. Any time we toured the home, everything was left clean and tidy with strict instructions to respect the space. It is obvious that Vaughn and the Reborn team made it their personal mission to ensure absolute customer satisfaction - and on this renovation they were successful!

Thank you for all your hard work and for giving us our dream home!

We just had a home addition completed by the team at Reborn. Working with Vaughn as our project manager was great! I would definitely look at working with them again when we develop our basement, or any work that needs to be done. Expect an easy, professional experience with Reborn.

Company Background

About Reborn Renovations

Reborn Renovations has been renovating Calgary homes since 2009, and its website leans heavily on process. Every job starts with 3D design modelling and an in-house cabinetry workshop, and clients get access to a Buildertrend portal that shows progress around the clock. Before construction begins, the company holds a mandatory on-site meeting it calls Trades Day, where the trades walk the job together.

The service list is broad: kitchens, bathrooms, basements and secondary suites, second-storey and main-floor additions, exteriors, garage additions, interior design, and infill and acreage builds. The company says it serves Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane and Okotoks, including Springbank and De Winton. Its gallery pages name projects in McKenzie Lake, Signal Hill, Aspen Woods, Springbank Hill, Mahogany and Auburn Bay, and credit wins from BILD Alberta, CHBA and the CICBA CUBE awards.

Permits are a selling point. Reborn says it takes responsibility for permit applications and coordinates the structural, electrical and gas inspections itself, as a licensed Prepaid Contractor. It reports $5 million in liability insurance and full WCB coverage, a standard two-year workmanship warranty that can be extended to five years, and site inspections at 6 and 12 months. Those are the company's statements, so ask to see the certificates.

Google shows 4.8 stars from 81 reviews, read October 30, 2026. Google lists office hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

The positioning is premium. The site publishes no price ranges, and the business address is a numbered bay in southeast Calgary, so call ahead before visiting.

Reborn suits owners of established homes who are planning a whole-floor renovation, a basement suite or an addition and want design, permits and building under one roof. It suits less well a quick, low-budget refresh of one room.

Before booking, ask for a written itemized quote, the permit plan, proof of WCB and liability coverage, and the contractor's City of Calgary business licence, which the City's Licensed Trade Contractor tool can confirm. Since Reborn says it is a Prepaid Contractor, ask for the Government of Alberta licence number if a deposit is requested.

  • What warranty do they offer?

Two-year workmanship warranty, extendable to five years, with site inspections at 6 and 12 months, as stated by the company. There are usually two warranties on a job: the manufacturer covers materials, the contractor covers workmanship. Get both in writing and check whether the workmanship coverage transfers if you sell.

  • How was this profile built?

Credentials come from issuing authorities, ratings from the company's Google Business Profile with the date we read them, and the editorial take from our own review of estimates, warranty documents and public feedback. Anything the business told us is labelled as reported.
