Ultimate Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric has worked out of a Broadway Street shop in the Elyria-Swansea area since 1999, and the company is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer with NATE-certified technicians on staff. Beyond furnace and AC repair and replacement, the crew installs ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and even residential geothermal systems, plus smart thermostats and whole-home humidifiers. Plumbing and electrical work, including gas lines and water purification, runs alongside the HVAC side. Pricing is flat-rate rather than hourly, quotes are free, and the company backs its work with a satisfaction guarantee. A second office in Castle Rock extends coverage south of the metro.

  • Michael Eidelson5.0I don’t often feel compelled to write reviews, but my experience with this company absolutely deserved one. After my air conditioner stopped working, I initially had another HVAC company come out. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat and recommended replacing it. Although I had no reason to believe that diagnosis was incorrect, something about the experience didn’t sit right with me. I felt rushed and sold to as opposed to helped. So I decided to keep my appointment with this company for a second opinion. I’m incredibly glad I did. Kelly was thorough, methodical, and professional from the moment he arrived. Rather than jumping to conclusions, he carefully worked through the system, tested the components, and identified the actual problem—a failing condensate pump that was intermittently triggering the safety switch. He took the time to explain exactly what was happening, showed me the issue, and answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. The repair was completed professionally, and I left feeling confident that the problem had truly been diagnosed correctly. I also want to recognize Lisa and Chrissy in the office. Both were exceptionally professional, courteous, and responsive throughout the scheduling process. They provided outstanding customer service and made the entire experience easy from my very first phone call. From start to finish, this company demonstrated the kind of ethical professionalism, technical expertise, and customer care that is becoming harder to find. I was on the fence about keeping my appointment after the first company’s diagnosis, but I’m so glad I did. It saved me from replacing the wrong part, and I now have confidence that the underlying issue has actually been resolved. Best of all, my air conditioner has been running perfectly since the repair. Kelly, Lisa, and Chrissy all represented the company exceptionally well. Based on this experience, I won’t hesitate to call them again for future HVAC needs. Highly recommended.July 2026Google
  • Andreea Ratiu1.0I would not recommend this company if you value transparency, responsibility, or your landscaping. We hired ULTIMATE Heating | Cooling | Plumbing | Electric to fix a sewage issue last winter. While they did complete the sewage repair, they damaged our irrigation system—including the pipes and all corresponding valves—in the process (~6000$ job). Because it was winter, we couldn’t test the irrigation at the time. Before leaving, they told us to call them in the summer if we had any issues when starting it up. When summer came and the irrigation system wouldn’t start, we called them—only to be told that their contract says they’re not responsible for any damage to irrigation systems. Now we’re stuck with a $1,200 repair bill and a lawn that’s suffering because it hasn’t been watered properly. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. We trusted their word, but were met with fine print (to be more exact: "landscaping is homeowner responsibility" which apparently means they can not be held responsible for anything other then what was visible) and zero accountability. 2026 Update: One of the exterior irrigation pipes has cracked. After consulting with irrigation specialists, we were informed that the pipes installed during the 2025 repairs were designed for indoor use rather than outdoor applications. As a result, the exposed conditions caused the pipe to fail in less than two years. The irrigation contractor will repair the damaged pipe; however, it is likely that other pipes replaced during the 2025 repairs will experience similar failures over time due to the use of the same unsuitable materials.July 2026Google

About Ultimate Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric

Ultimate Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric has operated out of Broadway Street near Elyria-Swansea since 1999, long enough that the company now runs a second office in Castle Rock to cover the south metro. It is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, which means its installers go through Carrier's own training track, and the technicians carry NATE certification on top of that.

The HVAC list runs from routine furnace and AC repair through full replacements, ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and residential geothermal systems, which is a less common offering among Denver's HVAC shops. Smart thermostats, humidifiers, and dehumidifiers round out the indoor air quality side. The plumbing and electrical crews handle gas line installation, water heaters, sump pumps, and water purification, so a homeowner replacing a furnace can often get an electrical circuit checked on the same visit.

Every quote is flat-rate rather than time-and-materials, which means the price is set before the crew starts rather than adjusted afterward, and the company offers financing plans for larger jobs. A satisfaction guarantee backs the work, and the office answers calls for emergency service around the clock. Additional recognitions include Angi certification and Building Performance Institute credentials, alongside an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.

The website does not publish a direct contact email or individual technician bios, and specific license numbers appear only in small print rather than a dedicated licensing page, so a homeowner who wants to verify a plumber or electrician's Colorado registration before the visit should ask the dispatcher directly rather than search the site.

Ultimate suits homeowners replacing older equipment who want manufacturer-backed installation and a fixed price before work begins. It suits less well someone who wants to browse technician credentials or reviews on the company's own site first, since that detail lives with Google rather than the company page. Before booking, confirm the specific plumbing or electrical license number for the technician assigned and ask whether the geothermal or heat pump work is covered under the same financing terms as a standard furnace swap.
