My family had the experience of having all carpet removed & Vinyl Planking installed. The person I dealt with was Jeff Helmle. He was knowledgeable, professional and had a crew who made this an EXCEPTIONAL experience from start to finish. I cannot say enough about this experienced crew as they helped moved furniture, replaced baseboards and cleaned up in 5 days. Everything about this change was a pleasurable result & surpassed my expectations. Thank you Jeff from start to finish you provided remarkable service & follow up.

We recently had flooring installed and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Communication throughout the project was outstanding—they were responsive, professional, and kept us informed every step of the way.

Their product selection was impressive, with plenty of quality options to choose from, making it easy to find exactly what we wanted. The installation team was skilled, punctual, and paid great attention to detail, resulting in a finished product that looks fantastic.

On top of that, the pricing was very competitive and provided great value for the quality of work received. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for new flooring and will definitely consider them for future projects.

Company Background

About After Eight Floorings Inc

After Eight Floorings is an Edmonton flooring company working from 11605 156 Street NW. The Est. 1976 banner on its logo and a website claim of more than four decades in business make it one of the longest-running names here. It sells tile, laminate, hardwood, carpet and luxury vinyl plank and tile for residential and commercial customers, takes on restoration jobs after fire or flood, and sells shades, blinds, shutters and drapery. A featured commercial project on its site is the flooring at a Movati gym.

The reviews reflect a full-service shop. Laura started by asking for a supply-only quote and ended up working with a salesperson named Shane who gave strong pricing, then watched her contractor finish the job. Sam described outstanding communication and a wide selection. Lori praised the service department: Anthony booked her quickly and Alain replaced two damaged laminate boards so cleanly she could not find them. Michael said Daniel explained the pros and cons of each option, and Kerri in 2024 had porcelain tile floors, a tub surround, a fireplace surround and a backsplash done with Ted as her representative.

The rating of 4.6 sits below the 4.8 to 5.0 range of most companies here, and the site does not publish warranty terms, licences or staff profiles. Hours are weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The company holds 4.6 from 143 Google reviews, read November 1, 2026.

Before booking, ask for a written quote that lists product, labour, removal and transitions, ask who handles insurance paperwork on restoration jobs, and ask for warranty terms in writing. It suits tile jobs, repairs and insurance work. It suits buyers who want a specialist in one flooring type less well.
