Editorial Review
Our Take on Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric
The review volume alone sets Applewood apart, and the specific 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. hours are more useful to a homeowner than a vague 24-hour promise, though anyone with a true overnight emergency should confirm coverage before assuming it is available.

About Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric
Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric has operated from West 29th Avenue near the Highland neighborhood for more than 50 years, and the review count reflects that longevity: over 17,000 Google reviews at a 4.8 average is a volume few companies in the metro approach.
The HVAC side covers furnace repair, installation, and maintenance, central air conditioning, heat pumps, mini-splits, and boilers, with whole-home humidifiers and air purifiers for indoor air quality. The plumbing division handles pipe repair, water heaters, garbage disposals, and sump pumps, while the electrical team covers circuit breakers, outlets, lighting, EV charging, and surge protection, making this one of the more complete multi-trade operations in Denver.
Hours run 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day rather than a strict 24-hour claim, which is a more specific and verifiable schedule than several competitors publish. The company states plainly that it charges no overtime fees regardless of when the technician shows up, and background checks on technicians are listed as a standing policy rather than a one-off claim. Financing is available for larger installations.
Applewood publishes Colorado plumbing contractor license PC #0000828, master plumber license MP #00187434 and electrical contractor license EC #0006800, but does not list a BBB rating, NATE certification, or specific warranty terms on its site, and a founding year is not given beyond the "50-plus years" figure, so anyone comparing exact tenure should ask directly.
Applewood suits homeowners who want a large, established operation with an enormous review history to draw on and clear daytime-into-evening hours rather than an open-ended 24-hour claim. It suits less well someone with a true overnight emergency outside the 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. window. Before booking, confirm after-hours availability directly and ask for the specific plumbing or electrical license number for the assigned technician.
