  • Pamela Carpenter5.0I was not the one dealing with the people at Roto-Rooter, but my husband was very happy with The service. Everything was explained the problem was found. They had some great information on how to handle the situation and we are going forward thank youSeptember 2026Google
  • St. Joseph Pryma5.0I had Brandon and Eric do the plumbing in my home. I must say that Mr. Rooter really trains these guys extremely well. They are very formal, professional and polite. They arrive on time, introduce themselves and tell you exactly what the issue is. They give you options as to cost effective resolves of your issues. We had a major clog in our kitchen sink and they found the issue under the house! They brought in amazing equipment and got the lines going. I did have a leak issue that came up the next day. Seemed I had a hairline crack in the line I never knew about. I called back and they rearranged their schedule having Eric come out the next day and re-plumb the sink. I must say both these guys were incredibly knowledgeable of their profession and very personable. They didn’t try to scam me and they actually worked a better deal all around. I really appreciate both of them doing the work they did. Thanks guys.September 2026Google
  • Lisa Dean5.0David Halabi was here yesterday to fix my outside taps. He was kind and polite. The work was done very quickly and he was thorough with description of my options, and provided advice when I asked. I would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks David!!September 2026Google

About Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Edmonton

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Edmonton has the largest review base in this ranking, with 4,573 Google reviews at a 4.8 average, read September 24, 2026. It is a locally owned franchise of Mr. Rooter, which belongs to the Neighbourly group of home service brands, and the Edmonton location says it has served local homeowners since 2009. The office is at 18604 106A Avenue NW in the Poundmaker Industrial area on the west side.

Drains and sewers are the core, as the name suggests: drain cleaning, sewer line repair and emergency plumbing. The service list also covers general plumbing repairs, water heaters, water filtration and softeners, garburators, boiler and radiator repair, gas line repair and replacement, bathroom remodelling and commercial plumbing. Mr. Rooter says it answers calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and Google lists it as open 24 hours. Workmanship and parts are guaranteed, although the site does not give the length, and financing through Financeit covers projects from $1,000 to $100,000. An Advantage Plan is offered, but its details are not published.

Reviews name a lot of technicians. Reggie said Curtis replaced a sump pump, explained the options and cleaned up afterward. Samy praised Daryl Allen for making sure he understood the problem, and Cindy had separate visits from Ryan Doering and Brandon Cooper that she called excellent. There is a useful caution too. Rodale gave three stars after a drain clearing moved into a higher price tier for extra root work without the new price being discussed first, and said the technician later agreed that should have been raised.

Mr. Rooter suits an Edmonton homeowner with a stubborn drain, a root-filled sewer line or a failed sump pump who wants 24/7 dispatch from a large team. It suits less well someone who wants to deal with the owner directly. Ask for the price of each service tier before extra work starts, get the warranty in writing, and confirm who pulls the City of Edmonton permit.
